The quick and dirty pink comparison.

Really like how the chips are coming along. The yellow is looking really nice. The salmon looks like what it is - a bad job of color matching. I'd rather have a good color (red or hot pink) 3 times in the set than a blah color that is now only used in one place.

If they can really produce the pink consistently, that is an insanely great chip for a China clay.

I really like the dark blue and the hot pink chips now. Maybe the "old" pink can be the spot on the black chip? Or a brighter red. I think that hot pink on 3 chips is too much hot pink.

And this hot pink looks very close to the one in the OP.

@Apache Do you happen to know if there’ll be a gap of time between when you have the final colors posted here and the chips arrive to you (aka the next price bump)? I know I’ll want to order these just not sure which denoms until the colors are finalized.

I've got green, white, gray and red chips coming that are not in contention. Dk blues are serving as my .25's and I really dig the new spots.

The new prototypes are the top row. The pink chip is not that good. Yellow chip is a big improvement. The lighter blue spot on the black chip looks better.
New dark blue chip is much better.
Yellow and dark blue are finished!
Pink will be either new edge spot color on dark blue chip or first version of pink.
The black chip might have the new pink edge spot color if that color will not be used on the new pink chip. I will not have the new pink color used on three different chips. I like the salmon color so it will likely stay on the black chip.

the new yellow, blue and black are perfect IMO. The pink should be the original darker color it was right from the beginning. It was a great chip right from the start.

Josh, the new pink chip is amazing. The whole line-up is really great. The only question is the red on the flag chip/$500 - it seems a bit faded, especially when compared to the body colour of the melon/$5. I'm assuming they're using the same colour for both - do you think it will get richer with some oil?

This is a bad picture from China. I put up some other pictures of the $500 already.

Is it a bad pic of the pink too? I know you said "hot pink" but to be sure, is it the lighter pink in the group pic or the darker pink in the photo that says "today's sample for blue straps"?

I think that's going to be a great looking set. You really pushed the supplier to set a new level for China clays.

Love the new hot pink chip and the light blue spots on it are great.
