@Poker Zombie I'm actually in full agreement with you. I only did the first mockup with the green stripes because it was mentioned by @Apache that he might go that direction, and I wanted to see what it looked like.

I've already got 150 of these yellows on order, and I ordered them based on the purple/light purple marks that were previously decided, and didn't want to see a change either. I think they're perfectly fine as-is, and brighter yellow is the only way to make them better (but that new pic Apache posted is awesome, I hope that's what they look like in person!!!)

After that I was just goofing off doing combos for @mummel, Sorry I didn't mean to hijack or anything, and I certainly did not mean to suggest they should be considered.

I for one do not like - at all - the redirect on the yellow. I have sets that pop, and I'm not looking for a cheap replacement of those sets. We are well past the design stage, and I dont want a bunch of chips that look nothing like the chips I ordered, because Mummel needs a chart to see what he thinks looks good.

The Yellow chip is soft, easy on the eyes, like a curvy woman. The green might work, but we get away from the excellence that inspired it (AS $20).

• Yellow Chip - The darker purple could be darker, but it's not bad.
• Black chip - the blue needs to be lightened up a bit, but the pink and blue work together just fine.
• Pink chip - I kind of like that shade, but would not be opposed to it being brighter to avoid dirty stacks with relabeled sets including the red chip. I don't have plans to order the red chip (and did not preorder it), so it matters less to me, but I'm aware of the set as a whole - something our late-game designers are clueless about.
• Blurple chip - again the pink could be brightened, but we are skeptical that it can happen. The orange, in photos looks fine, but if you were to be closer to the HS yellow, I would not be sad.

This is a forum. We are chatting and throwing out ideas. No one is advocating anything.

On the contrary, Im sincerely grateful for you taking the time to post the various color combo ideas and dont let anyone tell you otherwise. You could just have easily posted a color combo where everyone went nuts at how great it was and we wouldnt be having this conversation.

This was taken against a black background and is a good representation of the actual color.
Most likely i will see about getting the purple darker.

Actually blown away by how good these look and feel in person! They’re spectacular for the price. They shuffle and sound good, stack well, don’t smell like Milanos haha.

The green chip looks way better in person, and I think the pink will be killer with any tweaking. The blue 3ts14 could definitely use more pop.

Josh- is it possible to use the red from the killer red chip for the spot on the flag chip? The red on it looks a little muted in comparison.

Agree with this - the red on the flag chip looks more like the pink than the body colour of the melon. Would be stellar to get the flag chip red changed to melon red

They’re pretty sharp, but still have a small bevel. Way less noticeable than Milano’s and Pharaohs though

Here are some answers to questions so far:

1. The label size will be 1 1/16" Same as Paulson Grand size.
2. The edges will be sharper than Majestic chips. I will request the Mold makers refer to the Desert Palms chips and ask them to make the mold with similar edges. The Desert Palms chips have the sharpest edges of all the China Clay chips.
3. Labels - We sold labels for the Majestics and it was a lot of work. China sent us labels with all the different denominations on one sheet. Whenever we got an order we had to cut all denominations out of the sheets. It took forever. If they will make us labels and separate them I will sell them. If not I could possibly still order but the price will be a bit higher because of all the labor.
4. $.25 and $1 chips. This is supposed to be a high denomination oversize set so I am not ordering those now. If there is enough demand it might happen in the future. If I do order labels I can have those denominations available.

Mark your calendars the presale will start on 1/31.
Prices will be $.39 for labeled chips and $.38 for blanks.
The price will increase to $.44 and $.43 on 2/3.
The price will go up to full retail price when the chips arrive to Las Vegas.
The chips will not be in stock till June.
Sample sets, Dealer Button and $500,000 & $1,000,000 plaques will be available for purchase.

Worse case scenario is keep the original color they made or switch over to the new hot pink they made for the dark blue chip. These are just about finished so mass production should start soon.

I really like the yellow. The blue chip looks great now. The pink, I would change to that hot pink for sure.

Huge improvement on the blue chip. Not sure if you are doing more modifications, but maybe consider using the pink from the updated blue as the main color on the pink chip? Looks much richer and nicer than what looks like a very pale pink on the updated pink chip.

Yellow looks much better. Blue chip looks fantastic! Love that hot pink spot. Wish they could make all the colors that vibrant.

Book the yellow and the blue. They are now perfect.

I am not sold on the black chip, but I wasn't planning to use it anyway.

As other have said, if the pink chip can be the hot pink from the blue chip, then it will be amazing.
