The reason we do prototypes is to do some small changes if needed. Six of the chips are finished and these four will see some mods.

The Pink chip is not quite pink enough. I will have this chip lightened a bit. There is a good chance it will not change at all. It could be used as a $500 or $100,000.

$100 looks great already but I will have them lighten the blue a bit and see which one is better.

I think this one could use a bit more pop so I will have them change either the triangle or stripe to neon green and see which chip is better.

I gave the company an actual $25,000 chip and told them to duplicate it. The blue is quite close and does not need a change. The orange and pink do need to be updated. There is a good chance this is the best they can do but I will ask them for an update.

As someone who pre-ordered 150 of the yellows.. not so sure about a green stripe  I assume this is as bright as they can make that yellow color though... hmmm.. it does appear as though your camera auto corrected the exposure of that shot though, based on how white the backdrop is in each photo, so, I assume in person the yellow pops more.

Still, that stack of chips is lookin pretty awesome. Keep it up!

I agree with the potential changes

Ferociously in favor of enhancing the colors on the $25k chip to be more inline with the horseshoe chip. Doesnt matter how long this takes. Rather have it done right!

Chips are looking fantastic BTW. Excited! Thanks Apache.

I'm glad I ordered the main chips I did (orange, blurple, red and white) as they all came out awesome. I was considering the yellow but purple/lilac didn't do it for me. Would be very interested to see it with alternate spot colours (personally I'm partial to red spots on yellow chip).

Overall I'm just impressed at how well these came out with all the varying designs. Josh, I think you have a huge potential to create many new offerings with these more interesting spot patterns and sharp edges.

Most likely this is already the best they can do. Only one company I know of that can pull off the hot pink. I will ask for an update but not sure if they can do any better.

For me personally, I like chips that have vibrant colors with edge spots where the contrast works.

Take the blue majestics chip. It's a nice shade of blue, but the edgespots didnt "pop" and overall it didnt have much contrast.

I know sweet #&^%@ all about design and colors etc, but here is some interesting info about which colors contrast well with yellow (i.e black). Maybe some of the graphic designers can chip in?

Oh and keeping with the theme of this being a high end denom set, which casino does the yellow chip come from?

Glad to see you’re working with them on improvements. When you look at these colors and the Majestic colors, there is a definite challenge with the color pallet.

The pink in the black chip looks weird – like a muddy salmon color. I think you’d be better off with bright blue and red combo of the red chip, or a bright blue and orange combo like the Pharoah’s black chip.

I think they actually did pretty well with the lavender and purple accents on the yellow chip – it’s the base color that lacks pop.

As you mention the pink chip needs a lot of work. It’s weird they can make such a nice white but can’t get to a decent pink – just add a little red to the white – boom!

I like the yellow chip. Just wish there was a little more contrast between the edge spot colors.

My tournament lineup would be:

5 Red
25 Green
100 Gray
500 Pink
1,000 Yellow
5,000 White
25,000 Blurple
100,000 Blue
500,000 Orange

I think that I used every color but black. If that pink spot on the black is changed, I might use them all.

and how do you read this ?

Follow the lines horizontally. Whatever numbers are the most legible, the better the contrast with that corresponding color. The higher the score the better.

Check yellow and purple contrast. So so. I wonder what blue would look like.

Quick look at pink removal. Many people have already paid for their chips so I am more concerned with their thoughts.

That's the old CPS salmon pink correct? I think it plays fine with the black, given that we won't be seeing that bright pink. The white and dark blue is good, but white and a lighter blue might look too pastel to me. Demonstrated using a blue 1/2 way between the Light blue chip and the current shade of blue. All the way to current shade is even worse.

I only have a 50 black chip order, so weigh accordingly.

i don’t have any stake in these yet, but i think it’s the blue more than the pink that throws these off. or the contrast between them. here’s a quick n dirty of the chip with the lighter blue
