Since I would have called initially, with the following action I would have gotten it in pre. All ranges but the action player's are capped (non-AAxx) and against him I like even weaker kings. But yes, variance.

Yes, against heavy action (likely aces) after crazy raises I would have folded. Relative position works in our favor. Of course $100 is a lot of money to risk, but then again it's just 4x Rock, and the upside could be huge. And if for some weird reason crazy doesn't repop, I'm happy to just set mine. I don't hate the fold, just think it's a bit nitty.

The problem is my hand just isn't strong enough. I don't want to call 1/6th of my stack OOP against multiple players after he repops to 500
It's possible he repops it even bigger
But aside from the very perfect flop I would have gotten, most flops I will whiff and be unable to continue, the structure of my hand is too weak
As others said, I'm essentially playing half a hand. Why do that in a 4 card game OOP to boot with players that will put you in difficult spots? It's lighting money on fire imo
Flop equity distributions don’t matter when you’re all in pre. But I get it, hero wants a low variance game and prefers to wait for a 60% edge against crazy. The difference is I’d take a 55% edge all day every day. Neither is even close to a sure thing though, so you want to have a few rebuys available. Since that’s not the case, prolly time to just move to another table.
