Neither player has much... @ChipFinderSK is out front with king high.
@JMC9389 manages to hit a pair of 7s, but @ChipFinderSK makes trip 6s to advance to Round 2.

@rxed inbounds the ball and puts up a prayer from beyond half court. It bounces off the iron and falls short.

It looks like @BarrieJ3 is going to escape with a win over a #16 seed... Wait a minute, the ref has his hand up... @rxed was fouled on the shot! He'll go to the line for three shots with no time on the clock.
@rxed drains his first two free throws and gives himself a double-belly buster to the win.

Okay, so time to let @BarrieJ3 off the hook. And grovel a little bit...

I wanted to delete all these pics off my phone and free up some space (each game had two pictures and two cropped and reduced images, so 4 images per game with 24 games taking place today... after a few pics had to be taken twice because of lighting, etc., that was over 100 images). Unfortunately, in my haste, I deleted the cropped and reduced pic of @rxed's seventh street without the snow... It was, in fact, a red queen, given @rxed Broadway and the win.

Because its deleted, you're gonna hafta trust me on this one. I had some fun at your expense today, @BarrieJ3, but I would not rig a giveaway to screw you. There might be a special something headed your way for putting up with my antics today...

edit: not a humble brag because I actually suck at the execution. I totally get how difficult it is to run all this shit. I literally have to do it quietly and when my wife is getting ready for bed, because (and it's fair to her credit) she's always asking, what in the living hell I'm doing running cards and taking pictures for 3 hours for when we're packing, or dishes to do, or kids are getting out of bed. So kudos, and thanks for the sweat that hopefully everyone enjoys as much as me :ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

In Round 2, you can concede the game. You will keep the chip you won in Round 1, but you have to forfeit the chip that was assigned to you for entry. If you concede, postage is on your to get your chip. If you advance to the Final 4, there is the opportunity to protect some of your chips without conceding (and postage is on me).

You must concede *before* your game is dealt (so now would be a good time to check what chip you won and decide if you want it). If both teams try to concede, the first team to concede will forfeit and the other team will advance. Concede in the thread, not by PM.

We will probably start Round 2 later in the week...

Rule change for the Sweet 16: For the Sweet 16, the entrant with the higher reaction score will get an 8th street. This is Round 3, not the next round. I thought it would be a good way to reward entrants who contribute to the most to the site. I will announce who gets the extra card before the Sweet 16 starts. This rule will carry through until the end of the tournament.

Don't you dare concede @rxed. You look at me. You're 5 foot nothin', 100 and nothin', and you have barely a speck of poker ability. And you hung in there with the best damn flip em player, and rivered your Broadway. And you're gonna walk outta here with everyone's chips. In this life, you don't have to prove nothin' to nobody but yourself. And after what you've gone through, if you haven't done that by now, it ain't gonna never happen. I do understand the questioning. It doesn't help that I'm speeding through it trying to half hide it behind stuff, so she just gets further confused.

I won't even get started on how she thinks trying to collect other people's sample poker chips is strange or possibly creepy.

FWIW, I figured if I went to post count, anyone can pad posts in the next week... But with reaction score, even if you are padding, you're adding entertaining content (and you can't really move the needle that much). FWIW, I didn't look to see who was ahead and whether their matchups would be a close call when I decided to use the rule...
