8V Compression Clay Blowout Sale (2 Viewers)

It's a start

Nice.

My own label project is in its infancy:

@Gear samples in. I think I’m liking the smooth.

My cash set is in and the final order on my tournament set is going to be in tomorrow! Very excited. I wanted to thank Gene again for this. I am really glad I found this forum. Going to start working on designing a label next.

I am still deciding if I want to take the time to oil these. I have attached some photos with a few different colors showing (left to right) delivered condition, cleaned with soap and water, and then oiled. Only colors I really see a difference on are the black and brown. I don't know how long the color change will last though. I oiled a couple blacks and mixed them in with some cleans and I already cannot distinguish which ones they were.

The consensus seems to be oiling is a waste of time but I figured I would add these for anyone on the fence.

I really love the blacks. I am interested to see your black chips labeled. Did you have Gear or ABC do your labels? The 25¢ Blue looks awesome!
Gear did the design work on all the china clay's. I had Gene print the labels due to the dope Black Friday sale. I'm thinking of doing a few different styles for the dollar and Gear will be printing those. It is a big set so dividing the work between the too.

Here is the first set of CC done with gear labels chips from chipsandgames.

@X1havoc, I dig how the oil brightened up the colors. Do they feel oily or slick? Or does it appear that the oil soaked in?

They don't feel oily or slick to me. I rubbed in a small amount of mineral oil using a microfiber cloth, let it sit for a little bit, then cleaned off the oil with another microfiber cloth.

Package arrived today with racks and first volley of labels. Labels are a perfect match for the original labels done 7 years ago, thanks Gene @ABC Gifts and Awards. (y)

2 new denominations ready for the $1/$2 pink chip limit set.

Now the fun begins, 2400 labels in round one. :dead:

Yeah, I'm feeling a little left out, it's gonna take me months to save up for labels.

I bought the damn labels and just have not the remotest idea of what to do with em. Have custom plaques waiting too. Maybe it’ll come to me in 2019...
CUSTOM PLAQUES!!!

Anyone have any suggestions for oversized chips that'd go well with the 8vs? I'm planning some small cash games with this set and think I'd do well with an oversized $20 and $100 to go with the standard options.

Baby plaques from Sun-Fly via ABC. Won't find any current oversize chips that will go well with 8V china clays.

Nope, thicker rounded-corner 48mm x 68mm x 5mm (38g, RB011) or oval 48mm x 68mm x 5mm (28.5g, RB016).

The thinner (3.5mm) old-style credit-card plaques aren't nearly as nice.
