I just ordered 1000+ also. I think these will make great gifts for a few pals who don't have sets. If I can home print labels, it's a cheap ~$50 gift of a full set and saves me from having to cart chips to their place.

Washing helps, but oil gives more depth to the color. It would be best to wash first, then apply labels, then oil.

Factory dust can reduce label adhesion, and oil before applying the label can also result in reduced adhesion. However, washing is not critical - just best practice.

I've never had blanks before and had to apply labels/oil. I'll go search for a thread to see if I can find something, but perhaps a super quick rundown from one of you pros would be fitting for this thread in particular?
