Bit of a dilemma, I've got a slight regret that I didn't go shaped for my entire set. I'm not losing sleep over it, and my T5000 have shaped inlays so I'm good... BUUUUT, I'm going to add on to my set to take it from 600 to 900 so it's a bit more futureproofed. I'm wondering about adjusting all the inlays to shaped just for the hell of it.

Will this trigger me? Other people? Break the cohesion of the set? Will it be a cool easter egg with about 1/3rd of the chips being shaped while the other 2/3rds are round.

Here's the set for reference, what does the hivemind think?

I agree with doing the shaped inlays. In my opinion it could show like an evolution of the set itself. What it originally started out as and then what it's come to.

Do it. Many of us have various versions of chips within a set and mix them together. @bergs has like 5 or more versions of his $5 and they all play together fine.

When I added on to The Club House $1 I changed the spot and inlay but they can still be used together if run 2 tables (the light blue versions that is).

Had considered also doing a slight tweak to the spot pattern but keeping the colours the same too! Not as sure on that one but we’ll see.

I think it’s absolutely fine to add a slightly different variation to an existing chip. Set to make it work. I did that with my BCC set. I didn’t have access to the Suits mold when I wanted to add on, so I just went for a variation that was different but worked with the existing set..
