Alibaba High Quality Casino Chairs (with discount!) (3 Viewers)

The chairs are probably get the most compliments of anything in my setup. They are definitely comfortable and sturdy. Seem durable as well.
Thank you for the testimonial, are you sure they don't just love your off-centered O on the back ;)
I didn’t do a ton of comparison shopping in the chairs, but even at roughly $200/chair shipped these are a good deal compared to these at $350 (probably $375 after tax) that look very similar.
Probably even more with shipping too
Gavin still owes me a replacement from June and keeps promising to send a tracking number but I haven’t received it yet. Despite that I would still recommend them.
I wonder if he's waiting until other people buy more and he will make use of bulk materials?

If there be any chippers, from the Vancouver area, who are at least considering these, let’s talk. Send me a PM.

I’m pretty serious about these. We can combine the insane shipping costs. At present, I was just quoted $1699USD for shipping to Canada, for 15 of the Aimier swivel chairs seen in the pics in this thread

Really? I was quoted by Gavin -this morning- $1630 for 10 of those same chairs including shipping to South Carolina. Full disclosure, I requested custom embroidery on the back, but I think that is a nominal amount (like $10/chair plus maybe a $50 set-up fee). I don't have an itemized invoice, but had read in this thread how expensive shipping or tariff's were to Canada so you're quote for 15 chairs seems like quite a great deal.

Interesting, my chair is the stackable version, but if it’s that cheap for that many more, maybe I’ll get like 20 lol

Yea I suppose. We aren’t all wealthy. I can’t just throw the $$$ away.

For me, in Cdn$, it’s $2300 (shipping) + $1875 (15 chairs @ $125per)

For me, this is not cheap. I know other chairs are still more expensive, but the shipping does leave me questioning it. There are endless local warehouse sales of random office chairs on swivels. They might not match, but I can only score them for $10-30 each.

I really really want chairs, but $4000 is too much, for me at least

yeah 4K is a crazy number

Anyone have the wheeled chairs on a tiled floor (wheels)?
Are they ok, the tiles I mean.

I have porcelain tile in my basement, which is very hard supposedly, but I wouldn't want to order and find out the wheels they use are not safe for my floors.
I know on office chairs I have, they are a type of somewhat hard plastic, which would be ok.

Can you just get a short material rug that you can put under the poker table and is big enough for chairs to be on? I’ve got some older/used Gasser chairs now on a rug like this. But they don’t have casters.
Just thinking this would protect your floor and eliminate the noise of the chairs rollling around.

This is the rug I have:

Whoops I read that wrong, I thought you meant it was only 1630 for 10 chairs and I was like that’s only $130 more than my 8 chairs…
I really really want chairs, but $4000 is too much, for me at least
That’s really wild, I mean we are just over the border, if you wanted to drive over and pick them up haha

Got quoted $1880 for 10, $2928 for 16 and $3600 for 20

So not really much of a deal for bulk…
Yea, I’m back to the drawing board. Got excited , downloaded the app, but can’t pull this trigger. Too big for me.

I’m back to scanning Facebook market place for second hand stuff. The best thing about doing the Alibaba thing, is the uniform look of having the same chairs.

Some of these warehouse sales I find, the chairs are pretty great, but with different colors and styles. It’ll look off putting (to me at least). I wonder though, if it’s just me who will even give a dam. None of the players who have played at my place, have ever complained. I’m probably waaaaaaay overthinking this chair business.

However, anytime I see pr0n of nice chairs, I get insanely envious and want my poker room to look great too.

Dam! This time of year, it’s so much want and never enough dough

I feel like it’s an endless cycle. You buy nice chairs and then the table doesn’t look as nice so you a new table and then you buy more chips… yada yada yada lol

Matching chairs in this forum is probably a must, unless you like hot rods

Not sure about the quality of the chairs you mention on fb marketplace, but I doubt they are casino quality like these

What’s that saying? Buy once, Cry once?

I’m still trying to convince myself too… lol

Not sure its what you want in a poker chair but thought I’d share (came across it looking at the Barrington available online)

Oh sorry, should have DM this :-)

I placed an order for 8 chairs (sold black) this past Wednesday (12/18). Price per unit was $157.85 door to door all in. I see now in reviewing this thread that there may have been a discount available that I never inquired about.

Issue of minimum quantities never even came up. I may have ended up paying more per unit because of the small(ish) quantity that I ordered. I considered ordering 10 chairs, but I rarely have more than 8 players and didn't see the need.

Anyway, I did not inquire on how long they would take to arrive as I had gleaned that there was about a two month lapse between order and arrival on these chairs. I am (usually) a patient man.

I will update with my impressions once they arrive.

I'm assuming you got the wheeled chairs and not the stackable kind?
The 5% discount would maybe give you ~ $62 savings so it's not that wild, he might have already gave it to you (did you talk to Gavin?)

I don't think you paid more for 8 versus 10 based on what I just got quoted.

Sounds good :)

I did get the wheeled chairs with the adjustable height. I did work through Gavin, who was very responsive.

I can do that, of course.
But...wondering if the wheels on these chairs are OK for hardwood or tile floors, straight on.

Question for those that have purchased chairs from this vendor on the Alibaba site: Has anyone actually ordered and received chairs made of genuine leather?

The reason I ask is that all my inquires from the first one have specified that I am looking for leather chairs without exception. We went though the process of discussing options, I received a quote for leather chairs, and I paid the invoice. Later, I reached out to Gavin to make sure these chairs were leather after reading something in one of these threads regarding these chairs, and he stated that the chairs I had ordered were "textured leather for casinos".

I get that there may be a language barrier, so I asked a series of follow up question to which I got some unclear responses before finally determining that in fact these were not leather chairs but rather vinyl.

He then informed me that genuine leather was more expensive and that the would get me a quote for leather chairs.

While I was waiting, I started nosing around on the Alibaba site to see if I could find the same style of chair in genuine leather, and struck out. It would appear that the vendors/brokers that I looked at all used the term "leather", "textured leather" and "PVC leather" interchangeably, as it would appear that the chairs listed/depicted on the pages for these vendors/brokers are identical.

Still waiting on the quote for"genuine leather", but figured I would reach out here to see if anyone had actually ordered and received such chairs. If I have to accept the vinyl, I may still go through with the transaction.

Has anyone ordered and received "Genuine Leather" chairs from this or any there vendor on Alibaba?

I’d doubt they ever make genuine leather seats. I would love them in theory but they would probably look horrible within a year. People sitting for hours…and I doubt they would be made like a car seat. I’d think you would have large ugly creases and the finish wearing off under even moderate use. Also I would imagine it would substantially jack up the price.

Just placed order with Gavin/Alibaba. $1728 for 10 chairs, with logo on the back of the chairs, delivered to South Carolina. Assume they should arrive the first week of March, if the timelines in the thread hold true. FWIW, that was the original price quoted and when I inquired about the PCF -5 he stated that was already included (I had already let him know I was ordering based on the thread here).

The logo is kinda amateur hour I suppose. Did it myself and I am not a graphics guy by any stretch of the imagination. See below for sneak peek. (My game is "Second Friday Poker", naturally, that way all the players know to plan that night accordingly each month).

Anybody who has had these chairs for some period of time willing to post how well they hold up with regular use?
Just had my 8th night on them. Our games have been running 6-8 hours…finished at almost 4am Friday night!

Chairs still feel new and got compliments from a couple players that hadn’t be over since I got them.

3.5 months since I ordered mine, still no ETA and Gavin isn't being very responsive. The only updates I get when I ask for them is that he will will send me an update 'tomorrow'. Not ideal, so if I don't get a proper update soon (or the actual chairs) I'm gonna have to ask for a refund and shop locally instead :/

Hmmm, that's a fairly different experience than most have had. I've got an order in presently, paid for on 1/1 and working thru the back of chair graphics now. Sorry it isn't going as smoothly for you, hope they just show up soon. Please keep us posted!

I'm sorry you are dealing with that type of situation, and it does seem to be out of the ordinary. Any inquiry I have sent has been responded to fairly quickly, and oftentimes immediately if I send a message at the right time of day. Assuming the information that he has been providing me is accurate, I am anticipating on receiving my chairs in the next 2 weeks, which should put me at 45 days from the day I placed the order. I remain optimistic. that everything will go as planned.

Thanks, yeah I think I just caught a bit of bad luck here. And it definitely seems to be out of the norm.
Fingers crossed, hopefully I'll get a UPS notification one of these days
