Alibaba High Quality Casino Chairs (with discount!) (5 Viewers)

Better than I expected! Good job I don’t have any space to put them in. It’ll happen one day…

You happy with them?
Indeed, I honestly expected it to be quite a bit more.
I'm still waiting for delivery, I ordered them just a couple of weeks ago. I'll post here as soon as they arrive, will probably take a couple of months though :)

How does customs work for these? Are there additional charges for taxes or customs? I almost pulled the trigger on these and an awesome hardwood and epoxy $1000 table top…but then started reading about customs fees and brokers etc…sounded like my cheap stuff could get expensive after arriving stateside?

An epoxy playing surface, or a topper to convert the poker table to a dining table? If the former, don't do it!
‘Twas a non-poker related dining table…the cool looking expensive, live edge ones. But none of the sellers could tell me about customs or taxes and fees once the table arrived at the US border…anyone know if this is something I should worry about? Do I have to call ahead and hire a ‘broker’ or something? Maybe there are zero fees, idk…

So I finally got a tracking number for this, UPS, though they haven't received the package yet. And they say it's only 22kg :D

Those of you who already got the chairs, how long did it take from receiving tracking number to actual delivery?

You have the master tracking number. When UPS receives everything, you should get all of the numbers. That’s how it works when I got my shipments from Matsui, anyway.

For me it was about 5 weeks later. There are some other steps in between tff hr at you will see. Once mine cleared customs it was another 2 weeks.

Hi all—
I’m in the middle of a back and forth with “Gavin” and there is some confusion. For those that purchased, did you get the “genuine leather” model (currently listed for $85 ea on Anji Aimier) or the fake leather listed for $78 ea? His quotes are unclear and I’m skeptical the material is really different. Thanks

Looks like mine won't show up this year unfortunately. Something to keep in mind, if you have a bit of bad luck with which shipping container your order ends up on, it might just take quite a bit longer than advertised

Are you sure about that? Maybe you just didn't install the height adjust lever right?

I can't believe there are versions with and without height adjust

The stackable version is a fixed base. It is not height adjustable.

Fwiw: I got my order some time in July, but my home game never panned out as planned and I sold the lot to another place for the price I paid for it. Not sure if they have seen use yet.

I received the wheels and they help a lot. The chairs are still about an inch short of the height of the swivel chairs.

The chairs will still stack with these wheels.
do you have a close up picture of the new wheels on the stackable chairs?

Thanks for providing so much info!

An updated data point on the Alibaba chairs. I ordered 10 chairs on 4/14, delivered on 6/14. I went stationary base so I can stack them since I don’t have a dedicated poker space. Base cost per chair was $168. I added a logo. The tooling cost was $50 and the logo was $10/chair. Subtotal was $1830. I think there was a payment processing fee. My out the door total was $1962.68, or about $196/chair.

Overall I think the chairs are nice. They seem sturdy and comfortable. Have only hosted one game since I got them but everybody was impressed with the comfort of the chairs.

I do have one fairly significant complaint. The logo placement isnt great. Basically they are not in exactly the same spot on each chair. Some are higher/lower than others. Most are not centered horizontally. Some are slightly angled (not straight). One has a clear flaw in the thread (looks like a burn mark). I reached out to seller and they are sending one replacement for the flawed logo chair. I don’t think the other ones are glaringly bad but I know the issues are there and it irritates me.

Overall I recommend the chairs but don’t recommend the logo.
Thank you for the info, I'm seriously considering the same chair (without the logo), did you get sliding feet?

I wonder if Gavin can send all the different types of feet (if they are changeable)

You should definitely get a block "O" logo! j/k, based on my experience I wouldn't recommend a logo. It is a good price for a feature that makes the chairs unique but I wouldn't trust them to get it straight.

When I reached out to get a quote I asked for the smoothest slider possible for sliding on carpet. I'm not sure if there were other options, but the slider on mine is pretty wide and slides easily.

Gavin said the price went up, so $1500 ish for 8 stackable chairs, he said he could include all the different feet (sliding, stable and wheels).

Do you guys still love them?

The chairs are probably get the most compliments of anything in my setup. They are definitely comfortable and sturdy. Seem durable as well.

I didn’t do a ton of comparison shopping in the chairs, but even at roughly $200/chair shipped these are a good deal compared to these at $350 (probably $375 after tax) that look very similar.

Gavin still owes me a replacement from June and keeps promising to send a tracking number but I haven’t received it yet. Despite that I would still recommend them.
