So sorry to hear Sean, horrible news. Jerry and his family are in my thoughts. I didn't know him, but I did spend about ten minutes staring at his work looking at your trophy. I was very impressed then and like some one else said, that trophy is truly irreplaceable now.

Good luck and positive thoughts to all, death is a shity reminder how precious life is, but also a testament to the love you feel. Death wouldn't hurt as bad if we didn't love so much.

I want to say, "Thank you!" for all the kind words you have all sent my way today. It's been a VERY difficult day struggling with the loss of my friend and seeing the grief of his wife and wonderful family... they are all surrounded by close friends and family (more soon to arrive)...

"Thank you!" also for being such a wonderful community of individuals that someone like me, wishing to vent, share, grieve, etc. feels a bond strong enough to do just that... it's been comforting to read everyone's messages.

Much to the eye roll of my family, my favorite movie is "It's a wonderful life"... watched it with my family growing up always surrounding Christmas time. To this day I always choke up at the final scene when George opens up the book inscribed by Clarence..."Remember no man is a failure who has friends!"
... Jerry was certainly no failure and lived a truly wonderful life!
