4th barrel, 25,000. Defective.

Pack that shit up. Send it to Tennessee - I'll fix it for you.

You may come up 1 chip short after the fix. Them's the costs of quality assurance.
Nice spotting

One of the greatest chippers ever, Toad94, lives somewhere around Denver I believe (at least in the state of CO, for sure.) If you two can hook up, I think a meetup of UNPRECEDENTED proportions could be in store. :)

Sorry to see you leave town Sean. I wish I had more time to get over to your place to play. The one time I did, I had a great time. CO is lucky to have you.

Need to clarify something... I'm still in the Seattle area for 2 years... Need my youngest to graduate from H.S... Arrival in Denver is slated for 2017! I'm not "dead" to Seattle yet![emoji41].

Well crap! That is tons of time! I am just now getting my place put together, and if you feel like hosting there's at least 12thman, bivey, and myself (and others) ... I think between that group we may be able to scrape together a set of chips to use. :)

Good news!

Sorry to hear you're losing the poker room for couple years (and on a selfish note I was hoping to make the Redbelly Meat-up this year if it happened). I hear you though, I am 5-6 years away from having the kids comfortably situated in college and I'll be moving on as well. On a happy note Colorado is one of those on my short list of where I'd like to end up settling in so the CO contingent of chippers could end up with another member ;)

Colorado Poker Commune! Or! C.P.C![emoji41]

Best wishes on your hiatus and re-opening, Sean. You'll get it done right. :)

lol....first a mass exodus to PCF.... followed by a mass exodus to CO.... the psychologists will have a field day with this one.

So what are the home poker laws in Colorado, and when will they start allowing online poker?

Denver might soon have it all (except beaches)

Redbelly - check
Hitching Post - check...
toad94 - check
Lol in all fairness....my wife wants to move there it my job is here. It might be twenty years and then I head out that way...well besides for the Redbelly meetup in two years that I come out there for. [emoji106]

FWIW Colorado is a state that allows a "social" poker game.

So everything is off the chart busy right now with moving, sons graduation, etc... but I had the unexpected pleasure to overnight in the Oakland "hood", searched poker rooms, and found the "Oaks Card Club", called and find out there's a bounty tournament! Quick Uber car ride and I'm sitting down with 50 guys (gals)... long story short ended up 5th! Could have been better but the night was getting late so started shoving good hands. Nice training run (I hope) for the WSOP later this month! $530 in my pocket. Almost did a $800 deal but ONE player said no.[emoji22]. Fun night.

The chips don't look bad at all.

I've played there once. Only played cash. Their cash chips are bud jones, a mix of coin in center, and foil sticker replica coin in center chips. Strangely, most of the dealers there didn't know there was a difference between the two chips.

Had I known they had paulson tourney chips, I would have waitlisted for a tourney :P

Congrats, Sean!

Mike

PS a block or two away is the Pixar studios. Now that's a fun place to visit!

It is with great shock and sadness that my wonderful friend Jerry "the craftsman" passed away suddenly of a massive heart attack last night...

My family moved into our home 3 years ago and became immediate and close friends with our neighbors Jerry and his wife Teresa... Jerry had a wonderful "man cave" in their beautiful home that housed his wood shop and a gorgeous wood bar that he made from scratch! He actually planed each piece of wood! He recently finished a custom desk for his son Kevin, a lawyer and "player" in the Redbelly WSOP...

He is, as most of you know, the builder of my Redbelly tables and the Redbelly Trophy...

Jerry's passion for his family, work, and life was always on display... and he will be sorely SORELY missed.

God's speed Jerry...

Sorry for your loss; condolences to the family.

I always have special respect for fine craftsmen; I think they know that what they make will live on after them, and that's part of what inspires their finest works.

Sean, so sorry for your and Jerry's family's loss.
