You milked a donkey, Focker?
The last ASM/CPC group buy I recall that did offer a discount was the FDL Royal Cardroom. There hasn't been a discount from CPC based on order size that would make a group buy worth even considering. Being each chip is hand assembled and pressed, there's no benefit to them to offer that.
Whoa, good to know and thanks for sharing!Hey all, for anyone looking for one of the Oreo style dealer buttons @ThinkingFold posted, I reached out to @Himewad and he is putting in a new order in a couple of weeks for these. If you'd like one, hit him up!
It would be really cool to have my own custom set, but I'm just not all that creative when it comes to this stuff. I have a feeling I'd end up getting something, paying more for it, and just wishing I had gotten the classic rounders.
That said, it has been fun to play with the custom chip designer so maybe I'll get lucky and come up with something cool! Either way, looks like I can't go wrong with some CPC's, so I'm glad I started the thread. It's been very helpful.
Thanks @SteveEH! That’s great advice. Think I’ve decided to go ahead and get some Rounders for now as I get back into playing. Can always revisit customs when I’m back in the game for a couple of years.A rounders set is a great place to start your journey to chipping nirvana, and avoid the mistakes many of us have made with custom sets (my first 2 were all wrong). Enjoy these chips, take your time and don't force it, and eventually you'll think of the right theme. Then I'd highly recommend working with a designer here for your artwork. Make sure to get samples too.
Don’t be surprised when they arrive if the colors look washed out and dusty. That’s just the manufacturing. Thanks @SteveEH! That’s great advice. A tiny amount of mineral oil on the outer edge, and then wipe off while doing the face, and the colors will truly pop.
Yes sir! This forum is a great place for information and for finding ways to spend money!Welcome to the forum. I don't own CPCs, but after reading the replies here, it sounds like the answer to your query is a resounding "YES!"
Every time I see these custom $1ks it makes we want to put in an updated order and sell off the stock ones.

That’s what I did. Sold off my stock $1k’s and a small group of us did a custom order. Only did 100 the first time but wanted more so we did another order a few months ago and did 80 more. We also did the custom gray $5k’s some blue $25k’s and bounty chips as well. If you place an order let me know, I’ll probably do another add on.Every time I see these custom $1ks it makes we want to put in an updated order and sell off the stock ones.
Oh I’m actually really happy to hear this. I’ve had my eyes on the Rounders set, but never pulled the trigger. But knowing I could work with them to get a smaller frac or non denom makes this suddenly really appealing.I would think you could get them by just placing an order with CPC. You'll wait until the mold comes around again, and pay the regular price based on edgespots, but it should be able to happen.
I know there's multiple members that had different denominations made for their sets, like alternate $5,000 chips.
Not my photos (@Marhault) but they are my chips now. I wouldn’t have bought Rounders with the standard $1k and $5k. But these customs…
Or do what I just did and put in an order for Rounders with your custom order...It would be really cool to have my own custom set, but I'm just not all that creative when it comes to this stuff. Sure can. I did a micro cash set with the standard tourney colors. Do have to wait for the mold to be running vs. the standard configurations which are usually ready to ship immediatelyOh I’m actually really happy to hear this. Man…I do like those orange $5ks! I’ll definitely look into possibly customizing my set a bit now tooNot my photos (@Marhault) but they are my chips now. I wouldn’t have bought Rounders with the standard $1k and $5k. But these customs…

It's full price for.a custom order, but the price per chip at the level 2 is negligible from stock Rounders prices. I think I paid an extra $150, biggest difference being shipping and handling not included like they are with the stock offeringThat’s great, I love it. I don’t mind the wait to get the product better suited for me, anyways. Was pricing still comparable to the stock versions, or was it effectively full price of a custom order?
Not sure about customs but they told me the CSQs are “in production and essentially being made to order at this time. About a week from payment to shipping.”When does the next CSQ run come up? How long would the wait be for custom 1k/5k?
