Hello guys,

Just looking to see everyone's opinion on the spot colors/progression/base colors.

Thank you @mattross1313 for the inlay design. Matt has also made me a set of inlays where the pig color correlates with the base color of the chip. I'll upload those sometime this week. I'm far away from putting a CPC order in so I have all the time in the world to think about this.

Keep in mind those X18 spots on the Jockey mold are significantly more expensive ($3.05/chip) than, say on HHR ($2.64) or CSQ ($2.87) for example. And that’s for the least complex chip in your line up. You could save some more by using X14.

But if cost is not a driver they look good, though I might change the spot color on the .25 or $1

I love the white edge spots for the $1 chip, very very similar to the Paris THC which is a beauty.

Have you ordered a color sample from CPC? Some of the colors are pretty different than they appear on a monitor.

Thanks for the advice. I would not go as far as saying money is not an issue but the way I see it if I'm already spending X amount, I might as well get what I want. But for sure I'll play around with the pricing and compare.

Thanks! I also love the Paris 1s and I'm still going back and forth to see what I end up with. I don't have a CPC sample set I tried to snag one at auction not long ago but no luck. I'll most likely get one from the CPC website in a few weeks or so.

I'm a fan of what you have going on. I like the chips in the first post the best. I think your off to a fantastic start. Mattross is amazing to work with and I like the inlay... it's original and not too busy. I am a fan of the 18 edge spots as well. I had a set mocked up with 18 edge spots but it added almost $3,000 to my order and that was just too much to justify, but my sets are pretty big tournament sets.

I just had to move my Jockey order back a year so I would say you have a year to put the order in and approximately 3-4 month wait after that ... so yes I think you have some time. Good luck, can't wait to see these some day!

i like the 1st $5 slightly more than the second, but both work well. you've obviously put a lot of thought into the spot progression, and i think you've pretty much nailed it. my only comment would to *maybe* find a place to put one more thicker spot (probably by going to 214 the $0.25) so the $25 is not alone, but that's probably just nitpicking.

please put me down for a sample set if you plan to offer any!

Here is a look at what they look like with the color inlays. If I decide to go with the color inlays, I'll work with Matt on matching the inlays closer to the base color when I have everything finalized.

Not sure if you have your color sample yet but you will probably prefer dayglo peacock on the $100 edge spot over Imperial but I could be wrong.

Your edge spots on your first two chips will both look pretty close to black in anything other optimal lighting. Might consider Retro Green over Dark Green and regular Blue over Dark Blue. Maybe not but some things to think about and look at when you have color samples.

Edit to add: Some of your chips have changed so I am not sure which one you are going with. Just noticed the white edge spots on your $1 which is different than what you had above.

You have some really good concepts down I think you should pull to trigger on a color sample to help translate the screen to the real world.
