I take it you only raise preflop with AA2xx then? What are other good hands?Errr.... That's not the nuts IMO... Or even close to the nuts.... It's a good hand...
.... Uh... So.. The Nuts is the best hand possible. I was going off your post, which that hand isn't the nuts. It's not even close to "the nuts". It's a good hand, so I'd play it as a good hand.I take it you only raise preflop with AA2xx then? What are other good hands?
60% of the time the low comes every time.I mean, there's no low almost half the time, but whatevs

Never said once I wouldnt play it, but as I said before, I am not used to isolating with a A high and no low board to see if your low is worth anything. I agree playing against 1 is way better then having a group come along, but I'd have a hard time tossing out 20-30 dollar bets with a A high low draw with one nut flush draw... And literally nothing else.
I'd want to see a flop and actually know where my hand lands before the big bets come flying.

Fine with protection, but... Far from the nuts....Damn near any two low cards will also give you a straight draw. I love low hands like this. I love me some low protection. Hmmm, probably should have embraced "protection" when I was 20, but oh well.
Either way, I'm either raising to 20, potting it, then grabbing a bourbon so that I'll enjoy the ride just a little bit better

I lose a bit too much protecting low draws in our game, so I'm curious how this plays out...
Yes, I know it's not the absolute nut preflop starting hand (whatever that may be). I was clearly exaggerating. I guess when I referred to it as "the damn nuts" it didn't come off as joking to you..... Uh... So.. The Nuts is the best hand possible. I was going off your post, which that hand isn't the nuts. This is why I need to read about the game. Because by my way of thinking, that straight is only maybe good if you isolate. In a multiway pot, with the low end of the straight, you're getting beat. But again, my gut tells me isolating isn't the right move here.Damn near any two low cards will also give you a straight draw. I love low hands like this. I love me some low protection. You were joking about the status of a hand? Sorry, I guess I would think during a discussion about a hand, we're talking about... Uh... Are you serious guy? You are picking on me saying that this hand is legit the nuts. Obviously it's not, but it's a really strong hand that I would pot preflop and I'd pot the flop in this specific hand. You were joking about the status of a hand? I'll note sarcasm in your statements about hands from now on...
I guess we have different opinions on what constitutes “big bets flying” making it $20 preflop is how we make it possible to make real bets on the flop. And if the flop is the worst flop possible, KJJ we can let go of $20 easily enough and not have it be a big hit to the stack.I'd want to see a flop and actually know where my hand lands before the big bets come flying.

Lol. I'm not picking on anyone. I went off what you said. Are you serious guy? You are picking on me saying that this hand is legit the nuts. Obviously it's not, but it's a really strong hand that I would pot preflop and I'd pot the flop in this specific hand.
I don't believe in sarcasm... You know this.Wait? This is coming from you? lol..............Isn't "sarcasm" in about 99% of your posts?
I don't believe in sarcasm... You know this.
Next time I read your comments on hands I'll make sure to remember that you said: "I'm a holdem player and have alot to learn on Omaha games."Lol. I'm not picking on anyone. I went off what you said.
Holy hell, sensitive today eh?
Oh yeah, I'm cheap... Very very cheap.... So it could just be buy in dynamics...I guess we have different options on what constitutes “big bets flying” making it $20 preflop is how we make it possible to make real bets on the flop. I need to know whether villain is Cuban. If so, snap fold (just ask @Anthony Martino). If not, I’d pot and then reassess.
If there are ANY Cubans in the hand, FOLD!
Preflop I'm fine with a limp UTG or a raise, but I'm not looking to get stacks in pre with this hand. There's a good chunk of hands that never have a low come in. So when Villain raises I want to just call and hope others come along. It should make it harder for an aggressive opponent to run a bluff if he's facing a multiway field.
I'd be trying to get this as multiway as possible. You want bad players paying off with non-nut holdings. Yes, there's the risk you get quartered, but you have suitedness and super counterfeit low protection so let em in!
