you make me add that shit up

@ovo I have added on to my Dragonara Palace set.

First I acquired some cool hot stamp 5 shilling chips and 3 more barrels of £5 chips a couple of weeks ago at the KC Straddle. I will use the 5 shillings as nickels in my micro stakes nickel/dime home games. The additional 5s which I use as $5 brings my total of these to 200.

Then today I received another shipment of various Dragonara chips from @chipinla The blue-grey chips (with 3 different edge spot colors) are 2 shillings and the beige ones are 10 shillings. My thinking with these is to start teaching my granddaughters (ages 12 & 9) to start playing. We'll play .02/.04 using the 2s and 10s with a $2.00 starting stack. 20 x .02 & 16 x .10.

These hot stamps, like the yellow 5s in the pic above are WAY cooler than I thought they would be. They're dirty, but they clean up pretty good, and they're really in pretty decent condition. And they are heavyweights, clocking in at about 11 grams each! Definitely seem to be leaded, unlike the inlayed chips which are more like 9 to 9.5 grams.

I've almost doubled my original count. 600 + 160 + 370 for my new total of 1130 Dragonara chips!

One final pic. Check out how the blue with the purple edge spot cleaned up. I didn't realize how cool that color was until I cleaned it and hit it with a little oil.

I finally got enough of these chips cleaned up to take a family portrait. No change in my totals. @BiGGyT is still #1 with these chips.

@TX_Golf_N_Poker still jealous of your 25c.
As thrilled as I am to have those 90 lovely quarters, I play a lot of nickel/dime blinds, and the quarter is a bit of a workhorse. I'd really love to have another 50 or so of them, but I realize that is probably impossible. Don't even know if they exist anywhere... So a couple of weeks ago I jumped on purchasing these flower mold chips with a VERY similar color combo. I assume a 312 as opposed to a 314 in colors that are really close. I will eventually see if Gear can whip me up some labels for them. In the meantime, at least they have a 25 on the inlay...

And if I ever up my game and need a hundo for the set, that black and pink chip is freakin' cool too! Yes, I'd rather have LGKs. But they don't really come around very often. In fact, only time I've ever seen neat looking spotted LGK chips, I bought them. Again, I'd love to have more, but when I relabel those quarters, I also plan to turn these into £20 (35 grey with green and beige) and £50 (30 purple with gold) chips.
