Blades - Official CPC Pron Thread - Page 3, POST #62 (2 Viewers)

Queens Club could be epic. Lots you could do with that...

Or I reckon you're the guy to nail a Casino Royale theme. That could be awesome!

You'll find plenty of enablers on PCF to help you with your habit ;)

Enjoy your Blades. Glorious set!

Thanks Toby :-). I started oiling them today and already I'm thinking of another set haha. Must be the oil/CPC mix :-). I just love them. They look, feel and sound great.

Yeah, I was thinking Casino Royale, because Bond actually returns their in On Her Majesty's Secret Service. There is also Nassau Casino from Thunderball. Whichever way I go, I would need plenty of plaques as well. Oh boy, here we go ...

Can't wait for some oiled pron. Oil won't effect to face much but the sides will look amazing.

I also think it's great that you've taken to things you love and merged them into a great set. And I'm glad I'm not the only one to make chips based on a book. ;)

Can't decide if I like the 25 or 100 more. Another great example of how simple spots and colors can look better than complex chips.

Can't wait to see your next set mock ups ;)

Thanks mate. I recall at the beginning you were a big fan as well of keeping it simple and helped sort out the spots and colours. As I am oiling the 25s they are lookng great, but there is just something about the 100. The B-mold just looks great on the white. The inlay colour came out just how I wanted - not too worn at all.

I have been throwing a little dab of oil on the edge of the face, but as you say :-), the sides love it.

Hopefully have some oiled-up shots in the next few days. Then I'll post some of the chips as well haha .

@Phantom chips arrived today. Wife sent me some close up photos. Even better in person. The detail in the inlay is great.

Hard to pick a favourite but I think it's the 100, bright white with maroon is a winning combo.

Erm, wow, wow, wow. They have arrived!!!. I have taken some quick pics, had a fondle (or two), and now have to go to my little bloke's Kindy party :)confused:). What we do for our kids. When I get back in a couple of hours, will oil a couple and do more pics of course. In the meantime, enjoy :).

@David Spragg You guys are beyond awesome. These chips are fantastic and the '007', wow. The cross-hatching gives it an almost liquid effect :). I hope you had one sent to you mate. If not, let me know :).

Only just seen this. Yes, I got one. I get everything :) :)

Hey guys. I had an idea. We know that 007 likes to jet around the world to all different locales, so I thought it might be fun for those receiving a '007' chip, to perhaps add a pic to this thread of the '007' chip in your neck of the woods, or if you happen to be somewhere that has an iconic structure or landmark.

In the meantime, I am oiling and awaiting my Blades plaques. Hope to have some more pics up this weekend :-).

Just a quick pic or two. The plaques arrived this arvo - oh baby. Still need to oil a few more chips and set it all up properly for better pron.

I added the design spec sheet that we did with MSK.

Impressive customer service, communication and final product. Would recommend them any day of the week :-).

The colours are better than I hoped. The purple is wonderful, the grey has an almost stone look, while the red is, well, akin to blood.

More pics to come, I promise :-).

Hopefully most of you will have your CPC Blades samples soon. Would love to see the '007' pics :-).

The plaques are a great addition to your set. We defnitly need more pics. Interesting to see how the back side turned out.

Tut mir leid , hier ist die Rückseite des "007" Plaque. Vielen Dank für Ihre freundlichen Worte. Haben Sie einen großen Tag Pat

Translation: Here are pictures of the rear of the plaques :-).

Love this idea! I'm in, when mine show up! I even know where I'm going to set up my shot! It'll be hard to get focus on a chip and a landmark at the same time, though...

Can't wait to see it mate, thanks :-)

Maybe I'll embrace the "lover" side of Bond, James Bond and take some "action" shots with the wifey and the chips

Angry, angry young man :-). Is this about the metric system again BG?

I forgot to put a shot of the back of the plaque, and young Pat reminded me. Pat is currently located in Germany, so I repsonded in German :-). It basically says I am sorry there is no rear shot and that I hoped Pat would have a great day :-).

Toivon, että tämä väärinkäsitys ei ole johtanutonneton kokemus sinulle ystäväni . ;)

LOL

Cool chips and plaques, are the serial numbers engraved or just printed?

Where are those backside pics of the plaques? Are they not the same front and back?
