Bourbon Basement Poker (4 Viewers)

Maker's Mark in now aged in cellars, instead of rick-houses. It allows more constant temperatures and a better beverage.

But otherwise, you're correct. Same principle though - earth colors, muted, nothing shocking.

The way bourbon should be.

I gotta stop reading this thread at work. I could really use a nice glass of Blanton's right now...
Not really argue but I think it is only one line that is shed in cellars. As of last October there was still a lot of barrels in rick houses in the property.

The bigger point of my post is to see if something has changed since then because im too lazy to loom it up. They did point out the location of the future cave under construction at the time

Yes, it is just the MM 46 line at this time.

starting to regret offering samples lol. Starting to look a little bit like work.

Its looking to be in the 14.5 to 15 shipped in the US. I won't have an overseas quote until I actually ship.

Anyone, @Psypher1000 . I know the dayglo comes with an .11 cent premium if it is a base color. Does quarter pie chips count as a base color?

The more I look at the renderings and mock ups I'm leaning towards imp blue/light blue for the one. As I like to do, I also asked a few non poker/poker chip people their thoughts. All except one said the imp blue as well (including Colleen).

This looks to be a really, really nice set
BTW, bottle-wise, how much bourbon would be "sampled " at, say, an 8 person game? :)

:) It depends on who is attending. THUR. night when @slisk250 and @Jeff were in attendance we went through about 1.5 bottles of bourbon (and a ton of beer). Some sessions there is only a couple of bourbon drinkers so we might only go through a third of a bottle. It also depends on who has to drive home :)

Great theme! Put me down for a sample set as well, please.

added you to the list.

I struggled with these same colors for $1 in my new set (Imperial blue / lite blue). Although I ended up using retro blue and dayglo peaclck, I think your set is better suited to the imp blue and lite blue.

These look great, Bill! Personally I wouldn't touch a thing. I think you nailed it with you first lineup with all quarter-pies. I like the blue/light blue combo for the dollar the best and the retro lav/blurple hundo is killer.

Nice work, sir.

I agree. However upon closer inspection. The gray and light blue are pretty close and the blue and black is pretty close. This could cause some confusion between the chips. I'm not making any decisions until I get @ChaosRock color samples in hand later this week

Great time for input is during a meetup. Many of us have gathered over a sample set to help come up with some great color combinations.

Blue = $1
Black = $100

How often do those 2 chips get shuffled into dirty stacks in your game? In my experience - even at meetups - there aren't so many hundos flying about that you cannot keep track of the one or two in your stack. YMMV

Yeah what about switching that sweet purple chip to the twenty? And who doesn't love a black hundo?

Or you could go with a green $25 :p

That's a thought. I prefer the black/gray chip so I would like to get it into play. My least favorite chip is the purple. I also feel its the loudest of the bunch which is why I made it the 100.

I don't think I like it. It feels like it messes up the flow of the chips. Don't know why, just feels that way to me lol.

The black hundo is correct. If you ere looking to change anything in the drrp chips, I'd look at a red/lavender $500, bringing out the colors of bourbon.

I'm going to be locking this up anytime and sending out pms for payment.

I haven't hammered down the colors yet on the 20.

Still weighing my options on which blue to use for the one.

The b mold run looks to be in mid may. It's very possible I'll have them by the windy city meet up. If you'll be in attendance let me know and I'll gladly hand deliver your set and save you a few bucks

Bill

As you can see I"m still working on this lol. I kind of like the Charcoal/Off White 100.
