Some Deniro fan here probably has an interest. Sorry, don't have to time to post the pics right now.

Poker chips like the ones from the movie "Casino" Tangiers casino bronze and clay $5, $10, $25, $100, & $500 chips with cases more information available originally paid $1,800 asking $600 cash only any poker player would be proud to play and own these chips

Those are "inspired by" chips. They are not even close to the actual chips used in the movie.

Lol at "bronze and clay" :D Try brass and plastic, buddy. The orange chip was my card protector for a long time years ago.

But only two denoms available. It's been pretty hard to put together a playable set for quite a few years (not that most people would want to).

But if you did, here's your chance. (y)
Yeah, and at an "original price" of $1800, $600 is quite a bargain :p

Like that guy on eBay that has had the sample set of Vineyards listed for $310 for a long time, this seller also does not seem to want to lower the price.

I will NEVER post another ad on PCF. Screw you guys!!! :D
Seriously though, I've always been outspoken about not shitting on people's posts in this section. Anyone who posts ads here is doing so for the potential benefit of the PCF community, thus making it an altruistic effort. Anything said in this thread was purely in good fun and not meant to be mean-spirited in any way. Thanks for posting man!

You KNOW, I KNOW that! I was only kidding and am not that thin skinned in any way. I took no offense to anything that was said.

LOL, nice paper weights. ;)

You gest, but I set up a makeshift card table for my daughter's St Patty's Day party. I could have used these on the corners to keep the cloth tight! I had to use binder clips and heavy duty magnets underneath the table.

I can't tell how many chips there are. Those cases have 7 rows that look like they hold about 75 each? So there's about a thousand chips?
I don't know how low you could get this guy - if those chips are as crappy as people say, 50 cents apiece is too much. But still, it could be a fun tournament set . . .

Before I found CT back in the day and I was young and foolish, I bought a set of these for about .25 each. They definately look cool, but they can't stack. If the table moved a little they'd slide all over the place. I ended up selling my 500 locally for $300. I was going to keep them so my kids could use them for pirate treasure, gold tokens, theme nights, really anything because they are indestructable.
They do look cool and are fairly unique though.

From a 2015 thread:

"They originally sold for $99/500, in a nice, solid black case. The initial design for these brass chips was the "BINYONS [sic] WSOP HORSESHOE 2005 " version, until the Horseshoe's legal people put a stop to that....when I bought the Binyons chips through a 5stardeal-type eBay seller on Long Island, they were the only version of these brass chips available on eBay. Then about a year later, when I wanted to add on, more $1s, the Binyons had been shut down, but I was able to find thsee Tangiers chips on eBay....IMO, they do fine as card protectors, but they're very awkward to play with, and don't stack worth beans.

I still have the Binyons (for sentimental value?), but I dumped [literally, threw away] all the Tangiers when we moved to FL."

The actual movie chips are these: https://oldvegaschips.com/tangiers.htm
