Does anybody else use single deck boxes?
I like them when not a setup used.
PP (material doesn‘t crack)
Some cards arrive just in cellophan, no box at all.

Some fit even with own box (new decks) for both sizes bridge and poker.

I have some KEM single deck boxes I use pretty frequently. I can add some photos when I get home, they’re a black bakelite material.

They offer a little more protection than a tuck box, though I usually add a small piece of styrofoam or bubble wrap since there’s a little room inside for the cards to wiggle.

Edit: Photos added. Also didn’t mention these are for bridge size, and not wide enough for poker size.

I use single deck boxes for our tournament because our location is near a river. So to protect them additionally from humidity I always put them in those cases. Although I ordered them from aliexpress. I bought them for 10US$ for 10 pieces.

Fournier does pretty boxes too - even in metal.
Cool stuff on their website.
But it‘s not easy to order/get these items…!

I keep all decks in plastic boxes (besides the giant bicycle prestige boxes) for extra protection and I can throw them around in my bag without any worry of damage. They stack nice and I can keep other things in the boxes as well, like cut cards. 5 seconds to open and close for a significant amount of protection. 8 for $9 on amazon iirc.
