For my set I also used Tina. Great to work with. I got 39mm outside the cards mold GB because my artwork didn’t fit the mold. People say they take a long time, but I didn’t have that issue. In less than one week they made samples for me after submitting the art work. On the first sample set the colors were off. The ship brown color came out too dark and you couldn’t see the ship details correctly. They were going to charge me to run samples again, but I said to her look at the art work I sent them and the chip Photos and please show it to your printer. She showed him and they ran another sample set for me by the next day. I then gave the ok and the chips were off to print. By the end of the second week my chips were already en route. It might take longer for a group buy, but chips arriving to me in the 3rd week from China is a pretty good Turnaround for me for the price. Only one chip got damaged in shipping I think it was due to US customs.

I'll edit this saying I'd be in for a rack either way. Preferably 43mm cards mold or no mold.

Will this be in 39 or 43mm? Not sure if 43mm was announced yet. That’s what I’m waiting for.
This will be mostly 39mm Cards mold. I am planning on getting this group buy submitted asap which will probably be before the 43mm Cards mold chips are available. I know there is much interest in the 43mm Cards mold. If I get this one rolling soon, I may open up one for the 43mm Card mold when it becomes available.

Waiting for the 43mm card mold, if it is included in this GB, and I am not too late, then I am in.

Tina just got back to me. It sounds like she is not ready yet for orders, but there is a little language/communication barrier. Sent her another message to confirm.

However, info will be “one design quantity over 1000pcs,unit price usd0.32 for 43MM CARDS MOULD ,IF lower 1000pcs ,unit price usd0.35 for 43MM cards mould ceramic poker chips ,if quantity lower 500pcs ,unit price 0.5/each”

That makes it sound like you need 1000+ of each individual design/denomination to get the higher discount? Hopefully, it's just a language thing!

I know. Note sure. But she has been giving quotes like that to some people who have reached out to her recently. But each GB I have helped along, including one that sent in the order about a week or so ago, still got the same .28ea price. I do know that whatever system they use to prep the artwork and input into the printer and also running samples and corrections for each new design creates a lot more work for them. So it would make sense that they would price that way. For example 10,000 chips made of 6 different sets seams to be much less work than 10,000 chips of 25 different sets. Perhaps at a larger quantity of several sets she would stay with the lower price. But .35/ea still seems very reasonable to me.

Yup, still a bargain. It certainly makes sense (and easier on everyone) to run bigger group buys of a single design like the NCC and Aria ones (and hopefully soon a Taj one :P)

I can imagine the setup fee is a big part of each order. Not just the faces but the aligned sides as well.

43mm would be cool, but I'd rather have 39mm that can fit into any of the cheap case options. Not looking to have more expensive cases than chips from cards molds :-p. YMMV.

The OP has been updated with those that have expressed they want 'in' on this group buy. I will take two more participants if anyone else wants to jump in on this group buy.

I'm giving you shit because I will be at about 100,000 after I send out batch 5.
Hence the King Of The Cards Mold bit.
Looks like I have target to aim for...haha!!

I changed the OP to now say '10 or so' participants. This should get me a little closer to your 100,000.

Additionally, I already have 40,000 chips in my home office. I needed the chips from this group buy to fit in my office as well so I would not have to tell my wife about them.
