for me it's Mapes or Dunes in the one slot...

And this is exactly the showdown I was thinking we'd see in the finals. Alas, it appears the next round will feature an Aviation Club vs. Foxwoods contest.

Glad no one tried to prop bet me on that being one of the Final Four match-ups. I'd have lost a lot...

Stab in the dark, but France I think.

Well duh! Heh, no I thought perhaps they were customs, but yeah, I guess they'd be from France. I played there ages ago when they used Bud Jones. Still have a few that I smuggled out.

Holy hell where did Matty come from?

Yep, I'm back. Turns out poker is still interesting!

Yeah they only recently came around when the Aviation Club went into judicial liquidation. It closed in September of last year I believe. There are also a bunch of Sunfly hybrid ceramic tourney chips available, but I believe there's only one clay tourney set in the wild.

interesting comments, i think the mold, spots, color is friggin awesome on the ACF but to repeat myself, the inlay i just dont get it, a decent looking inlay maybe would sway me alittle but its a tough call for some that can stomach that inlay....they rest of the chip i will, agree is super, my opinion.....

hey wait a minute...i think there should be a disqualification....those are from France???

wtf...let me go back to eating my Freedom Fries  :whistling:

It's a 7 day poll, so a week from the day/time the thread was started. Date/time is listed above poll in OP.

Yes they're from Paris, France.
The chips you smuggled were B&G, not BJ (better quality imo).

The inlay reflect on the club's logo. It opened in 1907, it's logic the look is old school :)

Here's a link to a few pics of the poker room, I shot them the day they shut it down and auctionned the equipment.

Thanks for sharing those shots, takes me back. Yes, B&G, not BJ. Completely slipped my mind. My poker chip terminology isn't as sharp as it used to be.
