I don't disagree with pairing them together, but I'll say it again - this matchup blows.

The Trops are great for a number of reasons, but I vote Lakeshore here. I generally prefer Paulsons over TRK's, the colors on the Lakeshores are fantastic, and that hubbed Lakeshore fiver is delicious. Some people have argued that the Lakeshore set doesn't have a hundo, and I guess technically that's true; in it's native setting, there would have been no $100 chip. BUT...in a home setting, that white chip is amazing. Want to play some .10/.25? Great! That X is actually the Roman numeral for 10! Playing higher stakes and need a hundo? Great! The X on the white chip actually means it stands for anything, and the whites are now magically worth $100.

I actually prefer the Trop 2nd's over the 1st's. That frac is phenomenal, but it's not enough. Lakeshores for me, and it's not close.

Well said sir.

Anyone have a set of these for sale at an affordable price? lol'

When I think "this is too tough of a match-up for the first round, I think "it's not the first round, it's the sweet 16, and there are always tough calls in the sweet 16. Rounds 32/64 were the nomination thread, and jbutler did a great job of taking down the personal bias in the selection and seeding process.

Well I guess I am biased, but Tropicana quarter pie and the $100 are two of the best chips ever made. Lakeshore is a great set, but I have to go with the home team.
