Use a LED or CFL bulb and heat won't be an issue.Lots of plumbing and electrical work has made photographic progress less than exciting. One of our player's wife found some fdl lampshades and brought them over so I put together some lamps to keep the wine theme going strong.
The shade and the finial didn't match up so two poker chips were used to make a wider platform to secure the shade. And before anyone gets all hot and bothered, I used two old customs that were long since rejected and had no inlays. No live customs were harmed in the making of this lamp. In fact, two were resurrected. @Poker Zombie might be proud. My only concern is the heat given off by the bulb.
