All the framing was completed today, which included the bar.

New doors to the outside were also opened up and framed.

Lots of plumbing and electrical work has made photographic progress less than exciting. One of our player's wife found some fdl lampshades and brought them over so I put together some lamps to keep the wine theme going strong.

The shade and the finial didn't match up so two poker chips were used to make a wider platform to secure the shade. And before anyone gets all hot and bothered, I used two old customs that were long since rejected and had no inlays. No live customs were harmed in the making of this lamp. In fact, two were resurrected. @Poker Zombie might be proud. My only concern is the heat given off by the bulb.

And the second lamp will be filled with corks.

Use a LED or CFL bulb and heat won't be an issue.

They also played Needle and The Damage Done, The Stone, Tripping Billies, Gravedigger, Why I am, Rooftop, Digging a Ditch. It was unreal - 3+ hours.

I know this is ridiculous, but....

On vacation at the beach with family. Walking around surf shop this morning and I spot this...

Then I realize the obvious connection with House of Nutz and Chateau de Noix.

So I converted my Hawaii mockups because they use similar colors and themes and came up with this...

I don't need another set, but how can I not?

Mr. Tree says jockey mold. I say ok, but maybe ceramics to take full advantage of colors.

Anyone wants to guess the theme based on limited info above would be eligible for a free sample set. I'll post pics soon when the photos stream to my phone.

Dr. Nutz SEX WAX. The best for your stick. I'll take out the word "original" and sneak in a denomination.
- The inspirations for the chips are fairly simple. The blue chip is for a turtle and the ocean. The brown chip represents sunset and the beach. The yellow chip represents a longboard. The gray chip represents the lush vegetation. There was an orange 414 with dark blue and white spots, but it doesn't seem to fit.

Great job to Burke for coming up with this so quickly. Mr. Wood, errrrrr, Mr. Tree has graciously but unknowingly agreed to conjure up an appropriate bounty chip....

Thanks guys. This idea hit me like a Mack truck. After obligatory eye rolls from the wife, even she admitted she thought it was a likable idea.

Here's another version. It can go crazy with iterations. The orange chip din't make the cut. Bounty colors, but it's likely a cash set.

Updates on remodel. Drywall done. Tile starting to go in. Then we wait for doors and cabinetry. Still on track for September reopen.

Lamp in need of more corks but surprisingly they stayed in place.
