Chateau De Noix (4 Viewers)

Finished with the corks thanks to a friend at work.

Table arrived, and despite a few snafus, looks pretty good. Also Gassers arrived. I didn't get to pick the fabric, but I think they are snazzy. I'm not complaining given that they are brand new and got them at a great price.

The tournament lineup on the felt. Bad light with an iPhone, but you get the idea. Ready for the fall season.

Very nice!

When's the game and what are we drinking?

I'd do a meetup here, but I live in the middle of nowhere. Not that it would stop anyone. Maybe this Spring we could do another PNW meet-up. I'd need Sean's approval, though. He's reigning host of the year after the last Redbelly extravanganza, I mean, meet-up on the Ridge.

As far a game goes, I'm thinking the main event needs to be a HORSE tournament with a new wine tasting every round. Minimum one glass required. Now that would be a wild game!

Aw, I was saving mine up for you :). Grats on the cool wall art!

Bivey, if you had a game and extended the invite I would jump on Hwy 2 and be there in about 2.5 hours. ;)

Looking at the pictures again I feel like your chairs and your 25k chip are cousins to each other. I don't know why, but I make the mental connection of the 25k and chairs when look at the pics. Add in the fact that I feel like the colors/pattern flow with your over all theme, and the obvious mack daddyness of having gassers, the chairs are a huge home run!

PM me your email and I'll add you to our list. Most of our games are not worth 2.5hrs of driving, but I hold some bigger events every 6 months or so. Really any CT or PCF member can get on the list if they would like. I'll always have a bed made up for people that need it.

Add me to the list. Seriously. I'm sure I can scare most of your town's people.

Mike

Done, and yes, I'm sure that you can. And you can play cards better too.

So long as most of your town's peoples are under the age of 11, then I can play cards better than most of your town's people.

I love saying town's people.

Mike

Circa 2004, waaaay before I knew about the blue wall. In fact, I only found out about CT and wandered into this world while playing a cash game in Las Vegas and the Flamingo. I had my custom as a card protector and someone spotted it. He made the suggestion that I check out ChipTalk and that was the last we spoke. I think I finally got around to checking out the site in 2011 or so. A little piece of Chateau history before it was the Chateau...

On the eve of ordering the follow-up to these. I thought the wine was a nice connection between where I started and where I am with regards to customs.

Do you still have that first custom set? Any other pics? I'd love to see more of it.

Wow. Again, I say, wow. I just love everything about your set up mate - French-theme, table, chips, plaques - a class act all the way.

I do. Made so many mistakes with these! I'll work on getting some decent shots of them this week.

Just a little bump to this thread. I'm assuming the new set will join its brother and sister sets for pr0n in this thread once they arrive. The will all be in good company.

Love the new table, love the gasser chairs, love the room. Really excellent stuff all around.

What do those chairs run normally and what did you pay if you don't mind me asking. I am looking to upgrade from folding chairs this year.

You got your gassers! And cheaper than I did I might add!

Blue, blue, imperial blue. Edge spots can really change the way a base color looks. Tommy's broken bell red chip really looks great and I never would have put retro red into that equation but the edge spots make it an amazing use of color!

Also the mold seems to have an affect on color as well.
