My hype is uncontainable....If the price is right am I getting another cash set to go with my tournament set...?

If they are as nice as they look and close to the price I paid I'm not sure I could resist
Josh, I only have one thing to say to you sir...

I haven't been following this thread that close, but are blanks available... And/or are extra labels available? If I were to get a set, I'd like to mix the chip labels around.

Yes to both. I am doing yellow $20, orange $.25 and then either blue or purple $.05, there is also a NCV label.

Personally, i ordered blanks of the orange for $0,25s and blank blues for $1. ordered the labels and expect to have to label them myself. These combined with the red $5 and the green $25 i think will make a pretty kick ass cash set. I did end up ordering a few of the other denoms because I thought they were too pretty to skip!

Custom labels come from PGI (Palm Imports, they are on this forum), and you apply them yourself. I think they are 11 cents - 13 cents each, and they are available in glossy and textured options.
How do they compare to Gear labels? I have some coming soon.

That's true but I don't think he was asking about custom labels per se.

Apache was selling factory Majestic labels separately from chips, so that you can do exactly what Brian is talking about -- buy the colors you want and the denoms you want, and apply the labels yourself. The labels (and chips) were for sale through his website before the update, and the factory labels were $0.05 each if you bought 500 of them. I would expect that price to change when he makes the Majestics available on the new site.

I also offer custom labels, which will be suitable for Majestics. Once I have some in my hands and can measure them accurately, I'll be printing some custom sets for friends of mine who ordered blanks through me, and I will be printing some customized for myself as well. Most likely the best choice will be laminated with a slight texture, 15 cents per label.

This is Apache's thread so I'll wrap it up there, but wanted to point out that factory labels were available from Apache directly at one point, and I assume they will be again soon.

I never used Gear Labels, so I can't say. I've only ever ordered PGI glossies for my Stardust quarters, and they've served me.well.

I don't want to thread jack, so if you'd like to see some photos shoot me a PM.

Thanks for clearing that up!

PGI labels are similar to Gear labels. Gear offers many more options, and is more responsive than PGI of late.

Is this a recent development?

I ordered 300 Stardust labels in September... Got an email response from Kim same day... Everything was finalized with Joe within 24 hours... and I had the labels on my doorstep about 7-8 days later.

Granted, that was about 8 weeks ago.

I'd venture that if you took a poll, same-day response from PGI is not the norm. Consider yourself lucky.

Eh, everyone has their moments. For example, I sent like 4 messages to GOCC asking about Ceramics and they didn't get back to me for awhile. But when they did, I was able to get a response from them every 20 minutes as I got an order for Nine Dragons together.

Every situation is different. I never ordered from Palm but Gear has been responsive at least once a day which is admirable :)

Chris is a great guy. He is also, from what he tells me very busy. I'm very happy with his work but have rarely gotten a response within a few days. Not unlike PGI. In fact I sent him an email a week ago that still hasn't been responded to.

Man, after seeing that orange stack I'm going to have to make that my new $5 chip. Looks like my brother's getting 300 red $5 chips for Christmas.
