Can someone measure the recess diameter pls? Thanks! (y) :thumbsup:
 
I was told by Josh that they are the same as the milano's. They are collectively 1" or just a hair under. But I too want to know for 100%

I measured, but I don't have a micrometer/caliper. They are just under 1".

But ask @Johnny5 ... he helped design the Majestic chips and labels. Maybe he can chime in and give you specific dimensions.
 
i believe gear posted something earlier that he was getting some and was going to make some labels (pending art approval) specificaly for these. so i would talk to him when he gets a hold of these.
 
So are the only orders that haven't gone out yet the ones that were effected by the label debacle?
 
My early Chriistmas present arrived. I received my initial 1000 chip order, but I did not received my additional add-on order, probably due to ordering additional chips and extra non-denominational labels. No telling, how many sheets of labels are needed to cut out and separate 200 NCV labels. I can be patient. Perfectly happy with what I've received so far.
 
couple questons:
- Josh, what will full price be after this sale?
- if buying Majestic labels separately, do they stay reliably stuck compared to factory applied labels?
 
Got my friends order placed yesterday..... I'm jealous. I'm going to order a set tonight.

It's probable that, if you clean/dry the blanks prior to applying the labels, the seperate Majestic labels will have *better* adhesion to the chip than the factory-applied ones. If you clean and dry the blanks first then there shouldn't be any chip dust on the surface of the chip to interfere with adhesion.

shipping notice received. my order includes 100 labels.

too bad USPS tracking is pretty much useless compared to UPS and FedEx. I'll just wait to be surprised!
 
Got my blanks yesterday, thanks Josh. They look great!

And thanks Tommy for the measurement on the recessed area, that's a huge help! Looks like 0.95" diameter labels should work well.

So just out of curiosity, when you order straight from the factory in China, how many chips (blanks included) do you order?

Like 20,000? 50,000?

I mean it takes so long to get here that you would have to over order by a lot to make sure you have stock to sell after pre order right?

Those sorts of logistics are interesting to me :)

It is a tremendous amount of work cutting these labels. Some people ordered 1000 $5 chips so that means I have to cut 72 sheets to get the labels. I will get it done but it is tough work.

I think I see what they did, here... based on how many labels of each denom Josh ordered, they laid out the denoms on the sheet so that they could do one press run of label sheets to make all of them (instead of a separate press run for each denom.) Easier (and cheaper) for them to produce... hell for Josh to separate for sale.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, but realized I won't be filling up 40 person tournaments with my 1,000 chip set any time soon.....
