We don’t play games with a do-over condition, rather the best high takes the pot if there are no qualifying hands. I’ll be editing my set once I get it to eliminate returning bets to players.

I initially thought the same thing, but it's a terrible idea.

The pot will be very big - it has already gone to the river. that makes any pot sized bet in the next hand very, very large. It is also possible that multiple players are going to be playing with a stack for less than the pot in the next hand, making it a "whoever has the most cash wins the pot" situation - especially if 2 or 3 hands in a row went unqualified.
 
For some reason I can no longer edit the post which has the running total of interest, so I am creating a supplemental list below. I will send a PM with payment instructions to everyone who has expressed interest in this thread by this Friday and collect funds over the next week and begin production with makeplayingcards.com. Right now we are at 132 total, which if everyone participates would put us at ~$31.25 per deck including CONUS shipping and shipping materials. I know there are some international participants and we'll figure out that shipping separately. I think my plan will be to request $35 per person to account for likely drop-outs which would increase the per-unit price, and I will reimburse any overage to everyone once I have a full accounting of costs. If you are already listed below or in the 2nd post, I have you down and we'll finalize quantities via PM. If the quantities move around significantly I will re-run my costs and update the group on the expected PayPal F&F amount I'll request. For international folks we can coordinate for the incremental costs and if anyone wants to handle re-shipping to others within your country to reduce cost we can figure that out as well.

ps if we are able to get an additional 20 sets into the order, we will qualify for their Silver business tier, which will further reduce the order price. I can't determine how much the savings will be from their site but it will be something. So if you are planning to increase your order or know of anyone who may want to participate, let me know.

I would just order the extra 20, to be honest. There will be plenty of people who didn't see this, but will want to buy a set after the fact. Happens all the time with my dealer button group buys.

I'll see where we shake out in terms of actual demand when we accept payment. If we're close I'll do it, I just can't risk eating the difference if it's $500 off or whatever...
