I think it makes a difference how you plan on using these. I won’t use them as game plaques but as reference tools for the players. So each player will have a deck to look at. Probably have a game dice to show the game but I can see the value in the plaque option, just don’t like it for my personal use.

Tahoe pitch and roll needs to be there. I missed the secondary poll because I had already answered the primary poll and it should have been run in a separate thread.

+100 on any 'double board' cards. Not necessary.
Right. Maybe we can commission some "single board / double board" two-sided chips that people can flip, if they're looking to randomly select games. Or just to display, in case somebody has an aneurism and doesn't realize which one is being played.

Hey guys I realize the arguments on this, but the genesis of this GB was for plaques to do a rotating mix like in casinos where you need separate plaques. I recognize not everyone will use them in that way which is fine, but I covered the thinking earlier, the designs are close to done, and other that finalizing the last game we are sticking with the program for the game selection, at least for this GB. I'm happy to provide the designs if someone would prefer to make something else more specific to their preferences. FWIW it was a lot of work to get these designs to this point so I appreciate everyone humoring my stubbornness.

Why wouldn't you have No Limit Holdem as one of the cards already? Is there a reason we can't add all 4? The more, the better IMO.

For me I don't see much of a need to have a separate card for a Double Board game. There is essentially no scenario where a player would act differently preflop thinking a game was single when it was really double.
I do disagree with this. I mean the monster starting hands are still the monsters. But other hands do change in value. (Lower pairs make sets twice as often. Suited connectors go way up and down based on the nature of both boards.)

Also there are two forms of double board that probably need rules defined. Best hand winds, or split pot per board.

I just printed all of Abby's game on 8.5x11 and put them in a binder for player reference.

I didn't know poeple played double board games as best hand wins. That would be frustrating as hell.

This was addressed in one of the early posts in this tread or the original interest thread. There are larger card counts but based on how they are priced and the weight of the decks being close to the point where individual shipping cost will go up, the best bang for the buck is a deck of 42. The request for separate NLHE was in the original poll but was not one of the top choices among the 30 or so voters. With one card freeing up with removal of Draw2maha, I added back NLHE as a potential choice to fill the slot. If that gets the most votes we will include it. The reason it was not on the original list was because all the cards cover both bet formats. It's true that some people may have a mix which will include both limit and no limit, which would benefit from separate cards. However so far it seems like more folks would prefer a different game vs duplicating these two games. I guess we will see where the group lands. I do agree if there is any game that deserves separate cards it's this one.

I actually think this is a much better solution than these plaques if you want to give people a resource to pick games during dealers choice. It's going to be more comprehensive and easier to use in game vs shuffling through a bunch of oversized decks.

Thank you for doing this. Honestly, feedback on something like this has value only up to a point. You literally can’t make everyone happy. You are donating your time and effort and you have already gotten some good general feedback and taken it into consideration which wasn’t even necessary. Go with your gut and preferences from here.

You have it backwards. Double board Omaha 8 where you could potentially split both the top and bottom boards is frustrating as hell. Best hand wins would be 2 boards, best possible hi wins and best possible low wins. Only one split.

Now I'm confused.
Double board O8 is a silly idea and I'd never play it. Or at least, I'd never deal it.
When I've played double board Omaha, the best high hand for each board won, so the pot was split between those two.
Are you saying people play where there's a high only board and a low only board?

THIS.
100% agree.

I did that but too much space used on the table if every player has a binder. The best is to have it downloaded on the phone but that requires too much work for some.

Split games with double board is indeed no good, so you can play where only the best possible high hand, splits with the best possible low hand, taking into consideration BOTH boards.

Formatting: the Final Hands and Split Pot indent from the left vary across the cards. If not intentional, I think a standard left margin would help these look more polished.

Well done. I just skimmed them and will look again.

It's double board max hi low - the best possible high hand using either board splits with the best possible low hand using either board.

In for all things .

Want 1 set please !!

I thought about doing this using my cut card printer contact. But just the thought of it gave me a headache.

Thanks for running this.

Hmm...no minimum anymore but $10 setup fee....

Updated design draft is HERE.

Key changes include:

* Tahoe Pitch & Roll (the people's choice!) has been added, replacing Draw2maha. Dramaha is updated to note drawing 2 max with an additional player
* Streamlined stud card designs
* Corrected Scarney gameplay as well as implementing a number of other suggestions from @inca911
* Various formatting fixes

I believe we're in the home stretch. I will give it a few days for final feedback. In particular I am looking for more eyes on items like:

* Typos and formatting problems
* Rule errors or incorrect number of players
* Inconsistencies

Thanks in advance! Barring any last changes, we'll commence the order commitments by end of the week!

I would change the scarney wording to “hand is fouled if failed to discard properly and in some forms if no hole cards remain” the key point to me is that the failure to discard will happen prior to zero hole cards. It also allows for a discussion on which rules to play, which I won’t get into.
