Custom artwork group buy. US/CAN CARDS MOLD (6 Viewers)

FYI - some things need to be clarified (bolded).

1) Tariffs are not built in to the price. However, someone posted a customs document that seemed to show that poker chips would be exempt.

2) We will still need to reimburse Sean for bank transfer fees. I believe he mentioned he would add it to the reship costs so people don't have to send payment multiple charges.

Duke you can add me to post 3096!

Of all the custom molds discussed on the other thread, I like this one from @wolfpack a lot. Although I'd like to see a version with 6 stars instead of just 4.

Pretty sure that's just the image of the sunfly mold (not the chip). Actual sunfly cards mold chips are indented as well.
I wonder if they actually own the molds then? Perhaps they are just buying blanks from the same mass producer.

Actually, the machinery needed to dye-sub chips is vastly different to injection molding equipment. I can imagine these chip producers are just printing and dye-sub places.

I doubt it's identical. The card molds are similar, but not exactly the same.

Indeed, the ones from SunFly are different. They have rounded and glossy edges. Also never noticed one single spinner with SunFly.

So far, 14 folks have volunteered to skip sample runs... this should cut down on alot of time....... anyone else?

For those using @Bosco24's Aces designs, you can see photos of printed chips on his old vendor forum:

From my understanding, this is the same manufacturer, so colors should be the exact same...
I'm not sure I will be able to do anything with my design even if it doesn't look "perfect", but I still want to see my prototypes ahead of time. I know the edge spots will look great, but my inlay area has a lot going on and I want to confirm it works.

Just a reminder that the dealer button group buy that is accompanying this chip group buy is currently in the "taking orders" phase. Here is the thread:

Prepare to be amazed :jawdrop:
Y'all snag some of these awesome buttons. I'm not a DB collector, but some of these are hard to resist. So I didn't! :D

@SeanGecko & @timinater I am buying one of mine for each of you. Let me know if you don't want it.

Sorry, I can't commit to this - I have different design for my $1 chip as part of the NCC set, therefore I'm nervous that it will not get produced properly. I'm not so worried about colors, but the design itself. I want a 1/4 pie chip to match with the rest.

That's understandable, especially with all of the different NCC sets being produced.

Are any of the other denoms different? Is it just the $1? If so, would you be happy with just a sample of the $1 if the rest are identical to other sets?

I think any way we can streamline this process is a win for all. Less stress/work for Sean and Tina. Quicker timeline means chips in hand for everyone earlier.

Unfortunately I told Tina to just print them and they came out like this

Weird. And now you're stuck with 10000 of them too.
