Hooray. You'll have it shortly, just need to pick which design. I really didn't plan on it, but jeez everyone loves the quality and they cost as much as labels, it'd be dumb to not at least get a little STT setup.

That's the problem, I know what a little STT set is, I can get away with 320 chips.

A little cash set (which I would do New China for) feels like 7-800 minimum chips. Wife's not gonna be stoked seeing 1k chips coming in.

For sure, thinking. I know what I'm doing the tourney on and breakdown, just need to decide if cash and shoot info over to you.

We decided to sell off all the big money sets to help fund the house and help out some struggling local groups, so picking up a cheap set right now feels reasonable.

Also why I recommend splitting up group buy effort over two or three people. Organizing and tracking everything from start to finish plus re-shipping is a LOT of work.

Remember everyone to thank and tip your dealer! It’s always nice to peel off a sample set etc. as a minimum or other kindness to the organizer of these things. It is definitely a lot of work and frustration because things don’t go as smoothly as you might think.

Further to the video Sean posted above, here are some photos — and I'm happy to say that I've given this new blue chip the green light.

My set has now gone into production!

As much as I love the version with the multi-coloured tri moons, I felt that they didn't quite flow with the rest of the set. I wanted something a little more understated — that was also truer to the original TRKs.

I am buzzing to get these now!

This is my go-to "small .25/.50 set." It's 600 total chips and a large enough bank for a very deep game.

I'm going to regret not doing the China Clubs. But hey, I can always get the real thing one day right? I'll never be able to get a "real" set from the Viva El Donkey or Clown Motel.

In less than half a day, it went from me mentioning maybe doing a last minute set to having a tourney and cash design that aren't being used by anyone, and breakdowns mentioned and confirmed.

Also, the New China Club design will always be there in the future if you really want to have a set made (which you definitely will).

@timinater if you could do a couple of mocks converting the $1 chip into a 1/4 pie that would be much appreciated! I’m thinking keep the dark blue base and use one of the tri-colour spots as the other colour. Lineup would be all 1/4 pie except the fracs.

That's a good question. This was going over a month. I'm mostly a cash game guy, so I don't really care.
