It's weird. I love liverwurst, haggis (the USA-friendly kind without lungs, anyway) and a couple other dishes that contain a lot of liver, but I can't stand the stuff plain.

I grew up on liverwurst. It was my favorite lunchmeat.

Growing up though, I had no idea it was called liverwurst. My mother always called it "Myfavoritekind". Branding goes a long way with a 6 year old.
