I assume @WedgeRock was being serious. Different states have different laws I guess. Definitely WTF for not having your kids buckled up in a booster seat or child car seat.

Heck, in some states it is perfectly legal to throw your kids into the bed of your pickup truck. No seatbelt, no roof. Just hit a ditch and see which kid flies the furthest.

In my state,* I believe kids have to be in a car seat until age x, but after that, seatbelts in the back seat are not required.
