I think these are all good except $.50 and $1. The $1 is not changing and should have brown spots not gray, unless I missed something somwhere. The $.50 is being dropped for the new $20Just to confirm, is this what the chips are going to look like (full circle inlay stickers, edge spot progression, colors etc).
These actually look great.
And the 25K is not changing either
The colors will not be exactly like the mockup. I used the Chip Design Tool, which includes CPC's color pallet. I picked the colors that appeared to be the closest, but there will definitely be some differences in the final product. If anyone with more art skills is able to do a better mockup, feel free!
I got a PM from Apache yesterday saying the 1K would have green Vs and pink stripes. So should be similar to the last mockup.

I like Stan's idea about changing all 8v's on the $500 to just one orange instead of the current red & orange.
The original $500 chip has two oranges that are pretty close in color.
I think it would be a better chip and more close to the original. Let me know.

I think with the China clay coloring options, knocking the $500 down to a single color makes more sense. Hard to replicate those exact orange shades, I imagine, so it's better to have one faithful shade rather than two possibly very mismatched shades. Good call.

I may not put half of them in play, but I wanted at least an extra barrel in case they appreciate. If not, oh well, I'll still have 25 extra very cool chips on hand.How did you do this? Photoshop colors?

I guess I'll be the lone dissenter. Even if they don't exactly match the original, it's much more important to me to have alternating spot colors on the $500.
Lots of the colors in the set don't match exactly so that doesn't phase me, but to have a 2-color chip whereas the original was a 3-color chip (the 3 colors being much more distinguishable in person) and having it among the 3-color chips that surround it doesn't look great.

Take this with a grain of salt as I'm not a pro tournament director but...
Why not T25k stacks? Then rebuys can be given out in T25k chips.
For T21k stacks
10 x T100
4 x T500
8 x T1000
2 x T5000
Assuming 10 rebuys at 4 x T5k + 1 x T1k
Chip totals
T100 = 100 for initial buy-ins
T500 = 40 for buy-ins/re-buys + 20 to cover T100s = 60 chips
T1k = 90 for buy-ins/re-buys + 30 to cover lower denoms = 120 chips
T5k = 60 for buy-ins/re-buys + 24 (40) to cover lower denoms = 100 chips
T25k = 20 covers all chips in play
Total chips = 400 chips
Increase T1k by 1 chip per extra re-buy you need above 10
Increase T5k by 4 chips per extra re-buy you need above 10
Increase T25k by 1 chip per extra re-buy you need above 10
Please verify these numbers are all correct before ordering.......this assumes no more than 10 re-buys
Unlikely your tournament will reach a point where T1000 chips need to be removed, so T25K chips will have very limited value. That said:
25K stacks (10/10/4/3) for 20 players requires 600 chips (hey, what's an extra thirty bucks...)

100 x T1000 (includes 20x for color-up of T100 chips)
75 x T5000 (includes 15x spares)
25 x T25K (includes 4x for color-up of T500 chips, plus 21x spares for re-buys, 50k stacks, etc....)

If you are talking a single-table set (10 players), I can't see why you'd need more than 400 chips for 10 x 25k stacks (10/10/9/2) -- 100 of each demon T100 - T5000.

There have been 18x buy ins. I think that's the record. The 25K are more a novelty so in the weeks we get a big stack we can talk shit.
