I live near the Bunker Hill Monument so... I probably should start going to gamblers anonymous now?

To confirm, free drinks till 2am? Hopefully they can get it extended until 4am :) :)

Parking a b*tch in Boston. As @phaze12 said commuters would definitely take advantage of this I’ll just be surprised how they manage to do it. @PAZ is the no free drinks word of mouth or do you know if they’ve mentioned it in a press release? I know Springfield MGM gives out drinks so maybe Wynn just knows people in Boston will still come and pay for drinks. Prices will still probably be better than $12 budlights at most of the “clubs” here.

Word of mouth.

https://www.cardplayer.com/poker-news/21090-wynn-boston-harbor-to-have-90-table-poker-room nothing yet on details. Opens in June, will be checking it out first day it opens.

They're going to have a 4am liquor license which will be 1-3 hours later than any other bar/club in Boston so yeah TONS of drunk college kids and bar goers. I live about a 4 minute drive (10 minute walk) away in Charlestown so I'll definitely be hunting some drunk fish in the poker room :D.

Hoping against hope they're not house molds!
I'm actually in Somerville myself. About a mile down Broadway from Sullivan. I'l probably taking some kind of rideshare since the parking will definitely be an absolute mess.

How many parking spots do they have?

it's just a rumor at this point but the fear being that commuters from the north shore would park there for free then taking the orange line into the city.

I have heard rumors that they might validate parking if you play for a certain period of time.

Which would make sense. But then this is Boston so you never know.

Hmmm... so, MGM buys the Wynn and someone buys the MGM Springfield. All the minty chips that are (presumably) already made for the new Boston Wynn are rendered obsolete and have to be sold off to Jim @ the Chip Room. Likewise, all the casino used and secondary chips from MGM Springfield have to be sold off too after a sale to a new owner.

Sounds like a win-win situation for PCFers everywhere! ;):D
