Encore Boston (6 Viewers)

Anyone know what games they are spreading and what the buy in caps will be??
Any idea from your friend @davin ?

Here’s a bit more info but nothing on the particular subject:

The doors are open, great coverage on the local news channels. Couldn't be a better day for it either.

Knowing the demographic I estimate the ROI on the $2.6B will be about an hour and a half.

Post pics please, love to see the crowds (I’ll hopefully avoid them tomorrow though #casinolongweekend)

Nice looking room. Can’t say the same for the chips. I think the Encore must have bought them at Aldi’s.

I have always had mixed feelings about Wynn/Encore chips (Vegas and now Boston). I like the simplicity of the inlays..they look classy. Also some of the chips are glamorous, understated and 'chic' at the same time (The black $100s and yellow $1Ks for example), somehow inline with what the image of Encore/Wynn buildings are from outside. So, I have a love/dislike relationship with the chips...but it's a bit more on the love side.

There is no doubt Steve Wynn should have hired PCF members to design his chips...but that is true for almost every fuc*&&^ casino on the planet!

I think the white inlays are what kills these for me. The $10 chip with the dark blue inlay is much more successful than the rest. Plus the stark yet inelegant typography is disappointing. It’s like someone designed these on a PC circa 1992.
