Anyway, this is me and my daughter at a recent South Carolina BBQ Association competition. We won it (Boom!!), and the event is held at a site where the Battle of Camden (South Carolina) happened. Thus, the first place trophy (commonly known as a Kentucky Long Rifle I’m told).

This is me at last year's Main Event that almost wasn't. I had bought in ahead of time for the last day one. When I got there and went to check in, I realized I had lost my drivers license in the Phila airport and they wouldn't check me in with out an ID. So I had to call a buddy that was coming in the next day to get my passport from my wife and bring it out so I could check in and still play on day two, where I stood in literally the longest line I have ever seen for anything ever. But I did eventually get to play.
