Was it profitability issues or security concerns that led GPI/Paulson to pull out of this segment? Does anyone know if any attempts have been made to convince them to re-enter?

I’m just getting back into “lingering” after “quitting” the hobby several times. But it was security reasons they cited and their relationship with casinos, that caused them to stop selling THC molded chips. But they continued to sell chips with the Paulson Chips mold for the next few years, and eventually the Pips THC mold (my favorite). Then they were bought out by GPI, who also purchased Bud Jones and I believe a few other major manufacturers to create a mega gaming corp. That’s when they stopped making fantasy sets and the prices of existing sets exploded. But I could be wrong, since I’m a newb

Definitely the Le paulson noir (pineapple) set from 2009 Sidepot. Joined this forum to look for that elusive 10's that was sold out when I bought my set, and I still have never been able to get my hands on.
