Feedback on a VERY early mock up, please? (1 Viewer)

So somehow the 1st hard drive I grabbed had the files on it. I'm not a graphic artist, I sometimes will get lucky and come up with some decent starting points for a real designer though lol.

These are what I found, I'm pretty sure I had a more fleshed out design I did but I doubt I'll ever find them. And they weren't all that much better anyways. IMHO in the hands of a good designer the potential here's thru the roof. And probably, for dinky home game standards, if I tweaked them some they would look good enough for a leisurely home game. But I want these to pop so I definitely need to pay a professional.

The BPC one is will be a big dealer chip and the all black gopher is my idea for a dealer button.

Welcome back!

It's always exciting to work on a set!

I wanted to share the image below - the screen is showing the chips pretty close to the size they'd be if I were sitting at a table. The text is, honestly, un-readable. I would encourage test runs on paper to be sure you pick a size that you'll enjoy.

Good luck!

Good advice, this was also brought up in 2016 when I started this thread, so yeah these need a lot of work. I made some decent looking mocks up for someone who doesn't do graphic design, but I know I need to pay a pro to actually do things right. I somehow wantg the text to be on them but I understand my vision might not actually be doable.

But on the flip side, with my limited abilities, a professional artist could probably do things here that are way beyond what I thought up, and they'll come out looking better than my idea. I know 100% if I paid to have chips made as is, I'd be in tears with how bad they came out lol.

thankfully there are a lot of designers on here, and since this is a poker chip forum they'll know what they're doing when it comes to chips. Me, I'm just a guy who farts around in Photoshop and pretends I know what I'm doing :D

I'll go with yes and no. I think that depends on who and how you partner. I'm similar - I can do a lot in Photoshop, but others are better (plus they use things like Illustrator, which I no longer have). With feedback and playing around, you might do quite well. I feel like we did.
