Probably been discussed ad nauseum but does anyone have opinions on these two tables I'm looking at on Amazon?

Vevor and Costway

They look nearly identical but for a reasonable difference in price. AU$410 versus $240 although I can get the Vevor direct from them for AU$358. I'm not sure if the felt is of better quality on either but in the long run it won't matter as a table topper will definitely be on the cards....or is that the cards will be on the table topper. :p

Yeah good points everyone. :wtf: I went with the cheaper option.

Pharaohs chips to come and then a table topper I think.

A buddy has the identical one, and it has started to sag at the fold. I haven't looked at the underneath. Is there a cable to adjust to prevent the sagging?

I like the look and play on the table. We just play with six on is table, so it's very comfortable. My table is solid, has its own room, 84x42, and sits 8. Lots of room on it.

Yep, there is a turnbuckle under there you can tension to level it out. Works pretty well too.

I'd love a Barrington 10 seater but I live in an apartment so space is limited. Barrington's are also hard to get over here. Costco occasionally has them in stock.

Thanks. I'll bring that up to the owner. I'm not sure if he is aware of that adjustment.

It is nice to hear that the table is holding up, I eventually want to get a Barrington 10 seater for when we play at other people’s houses.

Did you ever get a topper for it?

Does the topper simply lie flat on the current surface? And if so, is it sort of like a mousepad?

Or did you take the rail off and stretch the new topper over, and reinstall the edge?

Picking up a cheap three-way folding table today and your topper here is great
I was wondering if you just placed it on top of the original Barrington padding and felt how does it feel?

Yep, lies directly on top and feels smooth as silk. A much better finish than the stock felt on the table. We played last night and I spied nearly every one of my crew just running their fingers over it at point. Cards fly over it too. I couldn’t be happier with it.

Measure carefully (I measured mine three times to be sure I had it right) and it’ll fit perfectly from rail to rail. I have seen others who have over measured and have had to trim their topper down but it’s easy enough to do.

Rolls up easily and I keep it in a tripod case I bought on Amazon.

I haven’t played on a Barrington in person yet, so I was wondering what you think the biggest advantage of a this topper is? Is it looks, playability, improved table feel by adding some more padding, or anything I didn’t think of?
