Even the legs aren't worth the asking price, and all he wants is $40.
I asked the owner some of these questions. Here's my response to the pic he posted on reddit.I am confused, is it a 4 person table, or they only had 4 chip racks and drink holders, or screw the guys on the end, they don't get drink holders? And why does a skill need an eye patch? It is a skull. Confusing table......

Let's pick this thing apart.
1) A square poker table? 2) chip racks for 4 people.. tough turkey if you're the 5th guy to show up 3) Those slabs of foam...You need one big piece of closed cell foam (thin) and for that to be covered with a durable poker felt. The creases on this table top are going to expose cards and prevent cards from getting to their owner. 4) Two different colors of vinyl doesn't help this thing out at all.
5) That spray paint could damage the cards you use.
All that aside, I'm sure you did your best with the resources you had, however, next time please try a tested design that's worked for others. There are tonnes of blueprints and tutorials on building a classic poker table. Can be done for under $300 usually.
Table Owner said:Let's pick your comment apart. 1) Square table?! Yep. With a rounded rail you hardly notice. Shapes are fun, though. 2) chip racks for 4, eventually 6, adding one on each end. We had 10 people around this thing last night. Some preferred the trays, others preferred to just stack. 3) foam? Where? There's zero foam on this table. The creases on the table did not expose any cards and did not interfere with dealing in any way. We do however have to look in to a better texture, as the smoothness made picking the cards up annoying at times. Small fix. 4) two different colored vinyls were needed to make the table without spending money on additional leather. We had it already. 5) the spray paint is completely sealed. No damage. 6) we could've used a blueprint and built a carbon copy table. But we decided to use our monkey brains.

I'm kind of a snob when it comes to poker gear but I feel it's definitely worth the effort to play on a quality poker table. Using that suited speed cloth or a real casino felt with a bit of thin closed cell foam underneath plays so nicely and is very satisfying feeling to play on.
"3) foam? Where? There's zero foam on this table. The creases on the table did not expose any cards and did not interfere with dealing in any way"
What is the 'felt' made out of? Is there foam or padding under the rail? You used real leather on the rail? I think you can buy vinyl from car upholstery for pretty cheap.
At first I thought "fugly table, but at least he took the time to get a custom felt" , then I realized it wasn't felt - at all.![]()
