Fugly Poker Table Thread (13 Viewers)

What is that and what is its purpose?

Could be an interesting story behind the missing chair.
Condition says new? Honestly don't know if it should be considered fugly. In the right room with the right decor and refinished it could work.

I'd like to poll 100 non-poker playing folks and ask them "what do you see" and show them a pic of that thing...I wonder what kinda responses id get... ;)
Is it Blue and black or white and gold?

I'm going to go out on a limb here, this actually isnt that Fugly in comparison. Impractical? Maybe. Not coveted by normal poker folk? Yes. But fugly? I dunno
I could see this being a general game table.

I think he is standing on it to take the pic, so probably not that interesting

"It is a nice Poker Table for four people with leather cushioned center and three Leather Chairs. We bought it for $2850.00 selling it for $300 or best offer. Have only three chairs."

That thing has so much rail that it looks like the lovechild of a poker table and a massage table. Or maybe a sofa.

Maybe he wants to keep standing on it.... for a really long time :p

I agree this one has been floated around before, But let's take a closer look:
  • Wood paneling
  • Grey industrial carpeting
  • Photo of child in a picture frame that has more going on than the picture.
  • 1 foot away a photo of the same child on a coffee mug. I'm not opposed to a mug with your child's photo, but displaying the mug?
  • Another foot and a half and you have some sort of ceramic sculpture. Don't know what it it, but I can assure you it's ugly.
  • Windowsill circa 1970.
  • Couch or chair (barely in shot) covered with an afghan. I assume it has a design of the daughter on it.
  • Window covered with contact paper... instead of curtains.
  • Spooge everywhere, or on the camera lens. Either way, they looked, then said "Yep, this pic is good".
Really, there is nothing coming out of this house trailer that is going to be of value.

Oh wow, that gets better in the listing:

Custom made poker table, UT colors with continuous vinyl rail. Lightly used with some damage to the rail from recent move. Made from dining table bought from Rooms To Go. Wooden legs not show in photos but are included. Burnt Orange Felt with heavy vinyl protection cover.

Reused dining table explains the weird as shit corners. Unfortunately there seem to be legs. The saw horses really helped the fugliness case. The fringe is much easier to seen in this picture. Really puts it over the top.

damn i didnt read the whole thing. I was hoping those crappy sawhorse legs were the real deal.

Eh, it's definitely impractical, but I'd say it falls short of truly fugly. Plus it's only $75.

Lovely Legs!

8' x 42" casino style poker table for sale. Padded rail, padded playing surface, seats 8 comfortably. Dual pedestals make this table extremely sturdy. This table is not something you fold up and put in the closet. It demands a space of it's own.

Thought this one could solve that drink ring problem.

This is a 10 person poker table that is in good shape with padded rails as well as a rail to place drinks on. The legs come off for easy storage great table for the serious poker players. Have 1 tables left

Guess there was more than one??

I'm having a hard time envisioning how this won't either cause damage to my knees or force me to be playing with my chin on the rail........unless I'm standing, or my upper torso is unusually long proportionally to my lower torso.

Nice theory, but I don't see how it works well on a poker table.
