SIAP, came across this on YouTube this weekend. Adam Savage of Mythbusters did a poker table build. For someone so handy he really went about building a table the hard way.
It turned out well but man is it fugly IMO. Who picks the exact same color rails and felt.
But that wood crafter birdcage is nice. ThinkI may try to make one this spring.

I don't think Teddy's tables are fugly, they seem designed to make it all just look "business as usual" and just a little dodgy.
Not the flashy tables, with classy deep reds and blues, you know, the ones we all want in our own private high stakes VIP poker rooms (aka "the basement, garage or whatever else our wife allows"

Everything from materials, to lay out, to the print & the dice chips is so... so wrong?
I feel like this is an example if someone who knows “how” to do things, but who lacks the insight/research to do it well.
