You said 45 minutes. I was there in 30.

Old Macdonald was great, very casual round with lots of gettable greens.

Pacific Dunes destroyed us with 30mph winds on the ocean holes.

Bandon Trails took everything that's great about northern Michigan courses and was a blast to play.

Shorty's is the brand new par 3 course. Very casual vibe and is a great way to wind down a Bandon trip.

Just practicing the short game this summer as I'm not allowed to hit full shots until December. But on the other hand, my almost 9 year old has been training for two years and Aims to get his HCP this summer. His first round had a 25 stroke improvement from last summer (on 9 holes) I wish I could improve 5 strokes though winter time...

My 7 year old is also starting to take a great interest in golf so I will have plenty of company on the training grounds this summer.

Anyone here have Junior golfers?

I tried to get my oldest granddaughter interested in golf when she was about 9. I put her in the PGA Jr program. She played for two years, but never really caught the bug. Now she's a teen and has no interest in any sports. Her younger sister is gung-ho into softball so I might be able to get her to try golf at some point. But I think her love is always going to be softball. Their brother is five, but doesn't yet have the attention span for golf. I'll try to get him interested in a year or two.

Tee shot on a 185 yd par 3... I see my 6 iron head go flying straight 20+ yards on the strike. I find the club head in the rough beyond the tee boxes.
When I finally looked for my ball I was very surprised to see it up on the green.

that's my 6 iron head between the putter and the ball

And a three-putt for bogey?!

Starting a refurb project. Picked the set up for forty bucks. Hoping to bring these ugly bastards back to life

Awesome — can't wait to see your progress. Are those grips the golfing equivalent of bike tyre chips, haha?

Not sure if you've seen this guy on YouTube, but his restoration videos are insane:

Hate myself (it's not lost on me that guys and brands like Malbon profess to want to make the game more accessible, while charging elitist, nosebleed prices for their stuff) — but ultimately couldn't help myself.

Yes! In fact, I’m planning on using these videos to guide me in refinishing the clubs. Should take me a week or two but I’ll gladly update. Thanks bud.

And get this — while browsing refurb videos, I found our very own brethren @Hobbyphilic in another channel chatting about vintage clubs!

Oh yeah, I remember being totally surprised by @Hobbyphilic's golf channel, too, hahah! I was like: "I swear this guy chips?!"
