This was yesterday on the Ailsa. Temp green at the start of the 7th fairway (which is now a par 3). Then you go to the 17th and 18th before playing the 9 hole Arran course as the back 9.
They’re not messing around.

Needed a new driver, as I just wasn't getting on with my current one. Shaft was too whippy; dispersion all over the shop.

XXIO. I'd never even heard of the brand until a couple of days ago. But, at this price, took a punt and changed the stock shaft for a Hzrdus Smoke...

...now I'm contemplating the 3-wood and hybrid! Unreal club, simply put.

How have I only just found this thread? Been playing almost every weekend (summer) for two years! Played a round today and it started raining after the 9th, reminded me all about how horrible winter golf is in the UK Thankfully no temp greens… yet

I’ve got an opening for a golf trip if anyone here would be interested in joining in.

We’re playing 2/6-2/9 in Orlando.
Thursday- Shingle Creek
Friday - Hawks Landing
Saturday - Southern Dunes
Sunday - Champions Gate CC

Golf and house (you get your own room) would be $1064 total for the 4 1/2 days (we’re leaving Monday)

Yes, it’s Super Bowl weekend. We cook, we drink, we’ve got ok golfers and bad golfers. We just like having a good time.

This week, a pic from The Club at Emerald Hills in Hollywood, Florida. (The longest golf course in Florida. Par 78 from the emerald tees.) Yes, that’s the guitar at the Hard Rock Casino in the background. 78 degrees on Tuesday. Perfection. Golf, sun, casino.
