What airport are you flying into? There’s a couple of decent courses near Alicante.Off on a golf holiday to Spain tomorrow. Playing four courses over the week, including this absolute gem for our finale...
Just arrived at Málaga airport. Will keep this thread updated with photos! What airport are you flying into? There’s a couple of decent courses near Alicante.
I love the level of detail you’re putting into your iron purchasing.Went to the PGA Superstore again on Sunday for round 2 of club testing for new irons. Round 1 was a couple different Taylormade clubs, and the Qi was the winner over the P-790.
For round 2 I hit the Titleist T-350, the Callaway AI smoke, and the Tour Edge E723. Even though my best single shot was with the Tour Edge, it was not very consistent. But the Titleist was very consistent, and a clear winner from this group! Then I hit it again against the Qi, and it won again.
Next week I'll be going back to hit the Mizuno JPX923, the Ping G430, and maybe one of the higher end Mizunos, just to be sure that I don't want a players iron. After that I'll be scheduling a fitting, and testing the top two or three again. But I think it's going to be hard for anything to beat the T-350.
Do you have a PGA Superstore near you? Dude! It's like two hours of free entertainment. I think I would go there once a month or more, even if I wasn't looking to buy new clubs.I love the level of detail you’re putting into your iron purchasing.
My local PGA Superstore is 3 hours away in Houston. I go once or twice a year lol.Do you have a PGA Superstore near you? Dude! It's like two hours of free entertainment. I think I would go there once a month or more, even if I wasn't looking to buy new clubs.
I've never done this before. Last time I wanted new clubs I did online research, then picked from the ones I was interested in partially based on price. I think I got some good clubs, but they were still just off the rack, and not fit specifically to me. But at my age now, I need every advantage, and I do really want to step up my game as I get ready to retire and start playing a lot more golf. I don't think anyone disagrees that a club fitting is a big deal to optimize their game. What I didn't realize is that as long as I purchase the clubs from them, the 2-3 hour fitting session is free! Seems like a no-brainer.
Louisiana sucks. You should move here.My local PGA Superstore is 3 hours away in Houston. I go once or twice a year lol.
