Guns you own (4 Viewers)

Two new additions..

Just updated my edc to a sig P365.

I also received my uncles colt trooper mark III in .357. It’s the 4” barrel. I think it was manufactured in ‘78.

Not the way you usually want to take in things but getting something passed down from a relative to keep in the family that you remember from your childhood is pretty cool.

It was the first magnum gun I shot and still remember that day. I shot it one time and said i didn’t like it. Either my dad was cruel or they aren’t meant for 6 yr olds.

This post is worthless without pics...

Getting an itch to add to my collection myself. Looking for a good quality striker fired 9mm... leaning H+K VP9 or Walther PPQ M2.

After that, another hammer fired 9mm to go with my P229 Legion. Looking at the Beretta M9A3.

Unfortunately, it's such a process in NJ, it will be months before any of this materializes. Will drop off my handgun purchase permit paperwork at my local PD today or early next week to get the ball rolling.

Crazy... WI laws are so loose right now. I walked into a gun shop, plunked down some cash, completed some paperwork (background forms), and left with my new handgun in 30 minutes (most of that time was jaw-jacking with the staff). The insta-background checks didn’t take much time at all.

Anyone in Chicago area want to go take the class for concealed carry? Trying to muster the effort for the two days.

Walther PPQ is my favorite gun made under 600. Blows away the HK. I've had both, and the PPQ trigger is a jawdropper. I still got my 4 inch next to my bed.

It was bad enough that the chips want to take my money. Now, to discover that my primary hobby/money vacuum has its own thread seems like the perfect storm of wallet emptying. Come for the chips, stay for this thread.

I own firearms but am pretty private about what I have. Maybe one day will share some pr0n but I have practical/fun to shoot items--nothing that I consider pr0n worthy (or collectible). At the moment I keep hoping that a tax stamp arrives soon. Today is day number 356 since the check cleared.

Edit: obviously those were firearms owned before they were lost in unfortunate boating accidents. It is amazing how many boating accidents take place that involve firearms being lost overboard...I am just another statistic.

Ugh. The stamp wait. I've done two, and it never feels any quicker.

This wait has been particularly painful because it included the government shutdown and high volumes due to the SilencerCo summer BOGO. I keep trying to forget about it and be surprised when it gets here but since I know the year mark is right around the corner, its hard to forget.

Yeah. I was lucky, I did two sbrs and never got crushed too bad. My worst wait was 220 days...

Nice, Josh. I recently sold my PTR91. Such a fun battle rifle that runs like a tank, but murder on brass. Only milsurp through that thing. I imagine the 93 is the same?
Yup, it isn't as bad as the 91 is, but it also helps that it's 223, so chopping up a few mags isnt a huge deal. 308, id get pissed.

Nice 629! Classic.

I really want to like that Sig 365, I carry an XDs (Springfield fan) but holding my buddies and the capacity gives me the wants.... It's just I shoot the XDs so well and the 365 like crap, haven't been able to make the decision and but one yet.

It's all most likely due to the fact I shoot Springfields so much and for so long that I'm just not used to the gun, but I can't hardly hit the the ground the couple times I've shot the 365.
