Guns you own (4 Viewers)

Sold yesterday, thinning the herd...

S&W 686, .357 K frame, 2.5 inch barrel, from the first batch made, around 1985. Only revolver I've ever owned. Never fired.

S&W 659. Very reliable weapon, but I never cared for the wide grip due to the double-stack:

Beretta 950. Haven't needed a hideout gun for a long time:

Why would I want a P220 chambered in 9mm? There are myriad other Sig 9mm options so what’s the upside?
They were the only option for a single stack 9mm outside of a p210 until they released the p225. So if you wanted a single stack 9mm, it was the best option. And when they were made, they were really well made.

But now that if you can buy a p225 or a fake p210, they are more just a sig collector gun them a shooter.

They were made when there wasn't options. For a long while, you could have a p210, P220, p226, or p228. They didn't have all of p227/p225 (and the tons of new models) made yet, so you made due with oddball cals on different frames.

Thinking about buying this. Can anyone offer any testimonials? Aside from Hickock45's video I don't have much knowledge of them.View attachment 444838
I have not handled one, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I think if you are buying it for kicks and giggles, go for it. If you are buying it for a specific purpose, question if that purpose is not better filled by something else. If not, go for it.

I'm skeptical of it for "home defense" because I think there are better options for that.

Lol testimonials, makes me think

“I shot through two walls and still killed the intruder. Excellent penetration!”

“I was able to unleash 157 rounds before my wrist gave out”

“I used the stock to bash in the head of the third intruder! Excellent quality, I’d use this to smash heads again!”

“The matte finish enabled me to get within five feet of the perpetrator before he saw the flash of metal, much too late for him to react. Matte finish is the way to go!”

Lolz. I’d add that the OD Green model is more accurate than Desert Sand.

I'm not that familiar with Mossberg, but I gotta ask, do you really want a pistol grip shotgun?
I've owned a Remington 870 since I was 12 (birthday). I bought a short barrel conversion kit years ago, so it's basically an 870 Marine.
you can get a pistol grip. Not sure of the price but $450 looks like good value for the Mossberg.

After owning one for over 50 years, I can definitely recommend the Remington 870 (not my pic).
