Big gun day in the Honda household,,, received my Holosun yesterday, and my C&H mounting plate came today. I also ordered a “We The People” holster a couple weeks back, before deciding on going with an optic (and that came too). I performed a little surgery and the holster now fits an Optic G19. . In a perfect world, I’d have one that fits optics AND my light, but ill just travel during the day and stay home at night.

I use one of those We the People holsters for my xds, carbon fiber print as well. It looks real good and I’m very happy with the fit, it’s got that perfect kydex “pop” when it goes in and out....but the belt clip is annoying me lately. I have to keep tightening it to get it to grab my belt if I’m carrying it. Admittedly though I’m a little rough on it, I wonder if I only used it on me of it would have survived a little longer. When I drive the 4Runner I slip it into the map pocket of the door and I clip it over the door panel. About twice as thick as a belt where it sits, probably not the best for it.

Also, my buddy picked up one of those olights you were talking about, it’s like he strapped the sun onto the end of his rifle. Those are incredibly bright lights and they seem to be real good quality. Definitely a good buy.

Hmm, at some point I plan to pick up a sub for a more comfortable CC. Probably not until springtime next year or so.

I'm struggling in my mind between a P365 xl and G43x currently.

For those building a an AR this would be an outstanding upper ...especially if it was to go on sale for Black Friday. Hopefully Colt continues to produce this stuff. This is the best spec’d Colt upper ever released. Looks like it sold out in a few hours but I think they will get more since Brownells just put out a video on this this morning.

It's a Sig P365 XL. It has a slightly longer grip and a longer 3.6" barrel compared to the 3.1" in the P365. Still small enough for carry purposes.

Ah, just so. Glock went the other way with the X, right? The 43X is slimmer than the 43?

I believe the overall size is larger on the 43x. I know they upped the capacity from 6 in the 43 to 10 rounds in the 43x so I'd imagine it's difficult to make it slimmer or smaller.

Got a couple of these finally, will be replacing my S&W shield and my wife's XDS. Smaller, more capacity, and I love the U rear sight.

43x is simply a 43 with an extended grip/magazine I believe. P365 already held 10 so they marginally increased the size of the grip to hold two more rounds and also extended the slide.

I think that's right. All these models can be confusing.

Just waiting for the sling to arrive and I think this rifle is G2G.

Sighting in the green dot and laser/light this weekend!

State police finally finished my background check. Actually pretty quick, based on past experience. Only a 1 week wait to pick up!

A few months ago, I told a LGS to put me on the list for discounted Glock 19MOS, and G43X. I snagged the G19 from two guns shops, AND now I just got called about a G43X that just came in with my name on it... Oh boy, but I can't pass up on this for the price... My cost is $400 out the door (taxes, fees, etc...). Please help me...

I go to snag it tomorrow night, and I'll post pics.. 3 glocks purchased this month... I'll be dipping into poker cash to fund this, or I'll be homeless...

This will forever be known as Glocktober...
