In for some secondary $2s...
I'm sure these will be the same as Cleveland in that there will only be secondary chips for $25 and up chips.
So no secondary $2 chips were made.
Indeed. Regulations only require it for $25 and up so I see no reason why a casino would go through the unnecessary expense unless one of us was in charge of ordering chips.I'm sure these will be the same as Cleveland in that there will only be secondary chips for $25 and up chips
Those were not secondary. Secondary has a very specific legal meaning. It just so happened that Cleveland decided to change it's $2.50 chip design after they opened due to confusion with their $500s. Speaking legally and semantically, both the tri-moon and 8 spots were primary chips.Cleveland had secondary snappers which were under $25.
We don't really know if they were actually secondary's, or have just been called secondary's because they were kept in a closet, unused.Cleveland had secondary snappers which were under $25.
I do agree that it's doubtful Cincinnati had a $2 secondary chip though.
It really isn't.This is a problem...![]()
Anybody familiar with these chips? According to chip guide, the $1, $5, and $100 all have grey spots. But all three look like different colors to me, none of which I'd call grey.
So have anyone been there and taken some photos of the chips? I have seen the pics on themogh, but would be nice to see photos of racks and stacks.
The $2 has so much relabel potential it's stupid and that snapper would make a sweet .25c relabel if in decent condition.
I'd expect the same as Cleveland Horseshoe, perhaps a bit better. The snappers are definitely going to be more worn, more on par with the CLE 8 spots than the tri-moons for sure. I'll be curious to see if they have the same surprising nastiness with their $500s that Cleveland did.Wonder what shape these are in!
Yeah but Todd hasn't announced the pricing yet....and there goes the value of my $2s I paid face value for. Bummer.
You probably will not see better specimens than these!!! They look like those $1 and $2 chips have sharp edges. Not sure you will see that but I could be wrong.
